His ability to miss bonfires never ceases to amaze me 😅
Indeed XD
When do you think he’ll realize he can take multiple sips from a flask
And that he can turn the blue one into yellow, getting him an extra heal!
Wait what. Multiple sips from the same flask charge??!? Am I dumb???
Not the same charge. Each sip costs one charge, but you can do multiple in each animation if you press the button fast enough.
@@EnormousFetus Not the same charge but he can press square multiple times for more healing
@@TheNamelessKing999 oh yeah ok I knew that lol. I thought I was tripping lol
Man, this is slowly transitioning from being entertaining to being painful to watch lol
Thank you, was thinking the same😂😂😂
He legit skipped pontiff
Same here
He could’ve done so much better at Irithyll
@@SerialisBattlefront it's a compulsory boss so no he won't skip him
It is killing me how much this guy does not explore lol he missed the old demon king area entirely along with the stray demon fight before the abyss watchers.
In his defense both of which are secret areas and hidden "bosses", I didn't go fight or go through either until my 3rd or 4th playthrough
that's a good thing for replayability
And Pontiff Sulyvahn
@@Morindorwell you do have to fight pontiff to get to Aldrich for another lord of cinder defeated so he will be fought eventually
How are you supposed to find the freaking old demon king without any help ?
Flo, important note. That skeleton that ran away from you. Kill him and the first boulder explodes turning into flask upgrade.
You need to find undead bone shards to upgrade estus. Also you missed several areas.
Bro was traumatized so much by the abyss watchers he decided “f**k it, I’m using their weapon from now on” 😂
When i first played i did the same shiz, thinking imma get the fire shit too buh nope
It’s my personal favorite ds3 weapon (: I played the whole game with it lol EDIT: too bad he doesn’t know how to use weapon abilities yet
They were the easiest boss for me, I beat them on the first try and for some reason had trouble with the Deacons 😐
@@Tristan2154 bruh
literally my every playthrough made it to new game+5 before i had to just retire it but i still use it. that and midirs blade
Not his stamina management stressing me out every video. Lol seriously great video! 😂
This. I think this is his biggest issue, not the missed areas, not the lack of upgrades, but the stamina management.
He hasn’t seen the nameless king yet and he considers abyss watchers as a hell fight. Amen bro
Do you guys think he’ll have more trouble with big dragon, feet lady or the old man?
Theoretically big dragon but probably old man
Feet lady definitely
the big lizard for sure
The guy with big sword AND a big lizard is gonna be interesting
Big dragon hahaha
this went from funny to sad real quick
the delusional confidence these dudes have is always so crazy to me
15:13
Floverse: "I want a better weapon! How do I get a cooler weapon?"
Game: Thy desires shall cometh true.
15:10 I like that he asked for that weapon and he got it 😂
Damn, he’s really good at acting. I thought this was a genuine first time through, and seeing his reactions. But at 16:25 you can see the item is no longer on the corpse, so he’s been through here.
ay man, you missed an entire sub-area in the catacombs. Destroy the bridge where the many skellies swarm you, then use it to descend. Proceed from there.
When you find it, the Drakeblood Greatsword is amazing! Chunky damage, lightning damage, buffable, and swings pretty fast for a greatsword
Love that weapon!! Being able to buff it on top of already having lightning damage makes it one of my all time favorite weapons for a quality build same goes for the dragonslayer axe for my strength builds lol
Hope you enjoyed the winter holidays Flo! Glad to see you back with this game. (Btw, if ur gonna use the Farron great sword, remember to 2-hand it so you can use the L1 attacks)
we're all just quietly waiting for the Nameless King 😂.
Im waiting to see him fight the first dlc final boss. Not going to spoil but if you know you know.
He'll never find nameless king at this rate
Bro you gotta upgrade yo estus flask
Now... I'm not even mad, I'm weirdly surprised by how you miss EVERYTHING, I'm serious it take talent to do it.
I love the casual "WEAVE!" you're throwing haha
bro picks the worst times to heal
"He's really not letting me heal"
Because you need to heal when he's in the middle of an attack. You'd think after the amount of Souls-like experience you have you'd know this by now :P
theres a difference, in elden ring getting punished while healing is very low and rarely happens. the second i switched to darksouls and played 1,2,3 i realised how hard it is to heal inside a boss fight and had to break a muscle memory or two to get into the flow.
@@ruppzie8708 are you serious ? ER have the mob read when you drink
@@oblivion8997 brother i still stand on my statement, eldenring is lots easier and faster, ds 1 and 2 punished me so bad. Especially ds2 for how bad the healing is, its almost impossible to go into a bossfight and try to heal once or twice.
@@ruppzie8708elden ring is easy up until the mountaintops. The DLC is the most difficult out of all their past dlcs
“How do you get a cooler weapon?”
Either talk to the old man with a crown or look at your inventory
bro got so traumatized that he call it first try after dying 58 times lol
I've literally never seen Wolnir pull out a sword
Same sword you can transpose from his soul (slightly embiggened)
Me either, or that he summoned skeletons to help
Cause you kill him fast enough unlike this guy lol
"gimme that!", proceeds to immediately get their weapon lol
Not using a shield, making the worst decisions. This is the content we all want to see.
Flo, with the greatsword you were using try pressing L1 while 2 handing. Trust you will love it.
Seeing him struggle so much with Abyss Watchers.
Me taking around 130 tries for them. PTSD Triggered, only think that took more time was Champion Gundyr. This Dude scares me Till today
Champion Gundyr is brutal
@@gamingfox9934I’m playing this for the first time, I’ve beaten Bloodborne and Elden Ring. This whole game is brutal. I beat the first ‘boss’ first try and thought I would be rocking Lothric. Now I’m dead like twenty times trying to find a bonfire or a key to the first NPC. Hardest Souls game I’ve played so far
130 tries? WTF dude that's insane
@@ugur3527 yeah struggle with His 2 Phase Switch Up in particular didnt Help that i was High Most thru my Soulsborne Games but, i think that creates the Challenge
I've had more problems with Pontiff Sulyvhan, took me 2 days to beat him
I felt the panic with the abyss watchers. I know that feeling all too well lmao. Good job taking down first try.
18:56 I know that you know that I know what happened next lol.
Love this series!
You missed a secret area- If you go back to the ravine before the High Lord Wolnir boss fight, you can cut down the rope bridge. It becomes a ladder… good luck!
i had no idea someone could struggle with abyss watchers this much
14:13 " I really gotta use my brain but it's kinda hard when you are stupid" 😭
Quick tip, two handing bigger weapons will usually give you more damage for free (because of STR two handing bonus).
the bridge all the skeletons were chasing you and running across, knock it down, climb down the bridge, whole new area, with LOTS of upgrades, way better to hit there before you go any further.
Seeing him ignore the hatted skeleton and just miss out on the ashes is kinda painful
don't forget to dual wield your greatsword to increase damage
Wait till you meet the nameless king.
killing Yhorm without Onion boi should be a death sentence
Bro you’re videos make bad days into amazing days much love ❤
Congrats man. Good work.
Though if you want to improve, whe you want to heal, don't wait for enemy to finish attack animation. Usualy, as soon as he does, he launches another strike.
Btw why are you not double handing that great sword? It'll inceease your damage. And give you some moves, and bonus parry ability
27:10
This made me smile so much, when you figure this out and the shock/relief of all that damage, priceless!
i love it when you are truly losing on one boss, take a couple of days break, then come back and first try 'em. happens so often
I had no clue that Wolnir had a sword before watching this video 💀
I like the strat of just drinking your estus right in the enemies face, very cocky
I love watching somebody play these games for the first time because you never know what they'll find for the first run (or miss)
Floverse is the type of guy to run into the boss without a shield and just brute strength with consecutive attacks
That boss is like I've felt the first time fighting a Valkirie in a dungeon in God of War :D Died like 20 times+
26:00 you have to use storm ruler😂😂😂
This activates my PTSD
PS. In your clips, everytime you have to run away fast from anything, you should sample the sounds from The Flintstones when Fred runs, it would be pretty funny.
I honestly wonder how much it’d piss him off to learn you can backstab abyss watchers
05:26 that was the funniest slap I've ever seen 😂😂
Awesome Video! Keep it up and do not give up :D. One note: I understand that you do not want to spoiler yourself but you should consider at least researching the optional areas ( you are right at a area where you can get acces to one of them), since you do miss out on a lot of really cool content and bosses otherwise which you might regret. DLCS are btw also very good and i can only recommend them :). Keep your sanity and have a nice day!
I really hope FromSoft trolls this guy someday and makes a boss that yells "weee-ooop" everytime they swing their weapon. Lol
And he doesn’t even press L1 for the actual attack of the Farron GS
I find this the most relatable content.
“Weave” is now in my vernacular for these games.
I was literally crying at the death roll at the end of the last video and the beginning of this one. The D-roll if you will 😂🎉
"ooo I want that weapon, I need a cooler weapon"
Game: gives hime the weapons
Him: proceeds not the use it
I actually took a break after dying to Abyss Watchers too. Then, i came back and beat them in like 3 tries. Helps to clear one’s mind.
The rope bridge the skeleton crew ran over can be cut down from boss side and used as a ladder.
Pro tip: you don’t have to fight any enemy’s in the game unless they are a boss, you can just run past them
That's why he has a +1 flask
and if you want to two handle weapons, make sure it just turns back to one handed when you change weapon or revived
Certified asmongold playthrough
I get you bro, I complately do. Those Pontiff bastards... Those fake walls and secret passages. And loosing your way, intire game... I lost my damn soul to Dark Souls 3
Oh haaaaail nawww 😂🤣🤣🤣 I die every single time. Man bro. Floverse, I wish I had a video every day to watch. You’re so funny dude and your content is A1 my boy. 🥹🫶🏼
Man is doing successful parries without riposte 😂
The grass shield you picked up increace your stamina regen even when the shield is on your back, so equip it, also if you hold block stamina regen very slowly. If you push the left stick foreward at the same time as you attack you do a kick that can be used on enemies with shields. Gl
3:25 and i already fcking lost it, man asked "AM I HIM!?"
"How do I get a better weapon?" _Meanwhile uses Uchigatana_
_goes to Cathedral of the Deep and doesn't pick up Astora Greatsword_
My brother in Christ please 2 hand that sword for my own mental well-being
i love the start of the video remembering us that amazing moment KEKW
When I got to Yhorm the giant hit him once I instantly had a feeling it had to be a gimmick fight but I didnt know how to use the weapon they gave in the boss room so I kept trying different shit like a dumbass until I figured you had to charge the attack first lmao
Not sure if someone told you already, but that kick you hate. Its a move you do by pressing forward and attack at (or nearly at) the same time. It does heavy stagger damage to enemies gaurding with a shield. Very entertaining videos, keep up the grind
The ancestors of Zamor Warriors...
If you think the abyss watchers are bad, wait til you meet the pontiff.
That roll that they did together was clean 0:49
Bro got the curved sword from his second kill😭
The most intense 3 minutes in my life. You beat the boss!
When does he realize, that if he dual wields both the dagger and the ultra great-sword, and presses L1(multiple times), he can do a really awesome high damage weapon art?😂
i was looking for a comment like this to see if im not the only one thinking that
The og bloodhound fang
It’s so nice seeing a new player enjoying this game in 2024
Episode 1: WTF ais this game?
Episode this: I understand my failures
Dark Souls 3 the chaddening
come for the video stay for the "weave"
when will he realise that he can run away. YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT EVERYTHING.
Okay I’m not saying that my first DS3 playthrough was flawless, but considering he was wielding an ultra greatsword and couldn’t even one shot a rat makes me think there’s something very sinister was going on with his stats or weapon upgrade
You should invest in a shield as they are very useful in this particular game
Thought this was Zanny for a second
Please just play this game over and over.. So entertaining
these little pointy clowns took me 4 hours to beat the first time, i really cant blame you struggling on them
Watch your stamina hahaha, time your dodges perfectly for that invincibility frames hahaha
Idk how you can beat lies of p and still struggle so much with dark souls 3
Tip just use backstabs for abyss watcher and parry
Lol Pontiff Sulyvahn awaits
watching people like this makes you realize how much most players suck at video games that are even remotely challenging
If I’m not mistaken Abyss Watcher can be backstabbed.
"this games easy" Famous last word's
I'll say the Abyss Watchers is in my top 3 favorite boss fights for the base ds3. Its one of those bosses who's difficulty can vary quite a bit based on your equipment loaded but ultimately isn't that hard once their move set clicks in your head. the fact the boss is fighting itself it by far one of the most fun gimmicks from soft has ever put into a fight. I can pretty consistently beat them with the 10 +3 estus flasks at level 30~ with a plus 3 weapon with any build. as thats the roughly intended level of strength to be at for this boss. still watching from the other side of the git gud veil its fascinating seeing someone lose their mind fighting him for hours on end.
