it really sucks to watch Roblox slowly go down this terrible path. Roblox used to be great and perfect, but since Erik died Roblox has become more and more distanced from the community. I wish they would actually notice that they have fans that want things different from the way they want things. At this point, I just want it to end. I can't bear it anymore.

An alternative to the default roblox chat and voice chat would be Discord, which has no stupid filter and you can send images too, on the phone while playing on the PlayStation.

Xbox users can only chat with other Xbox users by inviting them to a party or messaging their Xbox profile, so it's impossible to chat with anyone who doesn't use an Xbox. I believe certain games like mm2, Work at a pizza place, Breaking point, etc. had a chat function before but it got removed sometime in 2020 or 2019 I'm guessing.

Roblox for XBOX does not have chat, expect for the party chats, like you said. But that’s only for Xbox users cause it’s an Xbox feature. So if you had a friend on computer and you don’t have numbers, like online friends, you just can’t. I can understand why people are mad about this, cause they wanna talk to friends but I honestly kinda expected this.

As an ex-roblox xbox user, This should deserve lots of likes because this is absolutely true and our xbox platform in roblox is underrated as hell to the community like NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THE DOWNSIDES OF XBOX VERSION, which that still pisses me off because I was suffering from playing xbox version for YEARS and wanting a PC for WAY better experience. this happened this WHOLE TIME, and no one is even talking about it besides playstation version haves same problem!

if games add custom chats for playstation they could prolly attract more players. this is a good opportunity. if playstation users can see bubblechat then u can easily make a custom chat or just steal the gui for the default roblox chat

theres a rule for console compatible games : no in-game chat.
this used to work in 2020-2019 until they put out a big fix which made the privacy setting that u cannot chat always enabled which patches this. Apparently you also cant use the filter service on console at all, but i dont know if thats true, and if it is it means no filtered chat unless u make ur own filter which is obviously gonna have issues (and i dont think its allowed) or no filter which will get ur game banned. So people just dont allow chat.
If they decide to renovate the menu for Xbox (Roblox) to match the new PlayStation menu, I hope they keep the menu music that’s been around since it’s first released.

Funny that you mention the bug where the game crashed on launch. I was having that bug and guess what just came out. An update that bloody fixed it

I'm just gonna say this I started playing Roblox on PlayStation and the game is fine for a PS4 slim and I think it's the CPU because when you play heavy required games you can see your CPU performance by using performance stats and I seen the CPU only jump when it's rendering stuff in heavier game but in smaller games it's decent it's kind of a mixed thing
You can still chat on some games with the same chat system as arsenal but you do need to plug in your keyboard

Anyone else receiving bans they got a long time ago? I had my account appealed from a termination back in August, but I just got the same ban again, same time it was reviewed and everything. But when I go check my account through an alt, it doesn't show it as inactive, or as if I was banned. any explanation?

It's not only ps5 because though xbox can't use text chat we did get a type of early access voice chat, but it's useless because of party chats on main xbox.
Its an average day when chaseroony uploads.

As an xbox player its been normal for there to be no chat and when there is one you can't type and iff you rey talking to a player your chat doesn't show up on their screen

There were never chats on Roblox console… I remember playing on my friend’s Xbox 5 years ago, no chat. It still is the case.

someone who has played roblox on xbox one/Xbox Series would already know or see this happening to Playstation players about the chat system. I'm one of the people who has seen it coming since I played the game on Xbox one.

the roblox chat issue for ps5 players is also an xbox issue that has been occuring for 4 years now, dating back in 2019
In the dev forms it said that they'll add chat in roblox for xbox and ps4-5 but that should of happened for xbox a while back.

Xbox doesn't have any form of communication either. Even the "party chat" feature is completely broken. 1. If you have a headset on, you can't opt out of it, even if you have voice chat disabled. 2. Nobody really uses it anyways because it's NOT the official voice chat system for Roblox games. If we had cross-platform voice chat working for Xbox and Playstation, we wouldn't be having these ridiculous inconveniences in terms of communication. Even if the moderation is much more strict and broken than normal text gamechat, leaving bans and suspensions up to chance. For years, we console users have been asking for some way to talk with our PC and Mobile counterparts, and seeing how they did the same nonsense with the release on Playstation, I don't believe we'll ever see that happening.

I had some sort of glitch happen to me last night. I was trying to join a game after leaving it, and it just didn't allow me to join, it just got stuck on the screen where is just loads you out of the game joining screen... I was trying to play with my friend, who just got their platform roblox support (Friend on PS and me on Xbox), and he crashed while I had the inability to load roblox games all because I tried to rejoin a game I just left. Never had that issue before... but a chat thing that is available on both Xbox and Playstation that can be used with roblox, Discord
well I see theres a chatbox in the top left corner when I hover my mouse on ps5. But when I try to say anything. says "cant talk due to chat settings" thou I can clearly type in it.

I have a ps4, performance issues but I played a really lite game called blocks and props (not many parts) but it started lagging when there were a few people who died to the kill brick and laying on the floor or something or knocked out is was really laggy I had to set my performance to the lowest possible to even gane back performance and it was still not great
says something about my computers performance except I get kicked out when I lagg too much. and on ps5 some things dont load entirely and stay unloaded for the duration ur in the experience.

No. In xbox there is the same issue that ps4 and 5 has, we dont have the bubble chat even working.

My friend has a ps4, got roblox a few hours after it launched, he somehow had no problems at all, no crashing, no performance drops, no anything surprisingly, but roblox is gonna fall apart
