Ha ha, I recognise the modulator and vertical red coil from the Atari 400/800. They clearly re-used parts/designs that they already had. I tried googling to find out the video capabilities of the Maria video chip, but didn't find any clear description.
Hello, wow you are a pro. Can you assist. How exactly can I change the power switch electronic part? To one that stays either on or off. As in the ATARI 2600 & Colecovision. More of a manual power switch. It is ok if the plastic case has to be cut to make room for new power switch. Thank you.
I don't think you will be able to on the 7800, as there is not enough room for a switch like on the 2600 and Vision to fit inside the 7800, and the switch used on the 7800 is very different from the switches used on 2600.
Great job giving that Atari 7800 a life again.
Idk where you went to brother but i am currently binge watching your stuff, its amazing, love your voice brother ♡
Love this buddy! Really relaxing and informative (especially about the different chips) hope to see loads more!
Thanks Moneer buddy, really appreciate it. :-)

Interesting video. Thank you for making it.
Well done, subscribed!
Thank you. :-)
Great job on the restoration, especially on the hot glue button mount fix. The Atari 7800 is a great old system isn't it? ;)
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback and yes, the 7800 is a great old system with lot's a classics.

Great video! Excuse the ignorance but what is IPA? Is that Isopropyl Alcohol? Thanks!
Thank you, appreciate it. Regarding your question, Yes IPA is short for Isopropyl Alcohol. :-)

Please send me the 3 capacitor values. My Atari 7800 will become new ones in near future.
Here you go:
2X 220uF 16v
2200uF 16v
Ordered this ones few minutes ago. Thank you :-)
Great job well done, new sub 👍
Does this model have composite video output?
I just checked and it doesn't so I guess you used an analog TV 😊
