Venge is one of my favorite heroes, if you expect a big team fight to happen soon and you have aghs, you should immediately start saving up for buy back, if you die in the middle of your team fight, you can swap and then when the time is right buy back to get back in the fight instantly.
I wonder if there is ever an instance where you might want to max wave of terror first? Maybe vs illusion heroes or if you’re laning with luna? The attack damage reduction in lane feels so good
Do aura items still work even if VS died and became a strong illu? Ive been playing her and i noticed clickable items are not that useful once she died with aghs...
Hi Torte, very interesting video! Something I don't understand is whay you cast Wave of terror as last ability (AFTER missile and swap) and not BEFORE, at the beginning of the attack (before missile and swap) so that next missile/swap take advantage of the weakened armor... I "always" cast it first... why am I wrong? Thx!
Missile & Swap are not physical abilities so they don't take advantage of Wave of Terror but more importantly, Wave of Terror signals to the enemy that you're ganking. So you don't want to do that.

I didnt get it. What would it be the right time? Right before the aghs spirit is about to die?
Yes, before the illusion dies. Do note your main venge's cooldowns won't reset this way, they'll still need to tick down

Yes there are times to max out Wave of Terror. More for the armor reduction however

Auras still apply with the illusion. Another reason drums is bought so often.
