Honestly glad they do that from time to time. Because of how some of of them reacted to his death I wanted to know how strong/important he was to them. And here we are.

@@Wryyyyyyyyyyyyu Nope it's not like that. Animators did not put Rengoku in that scene just for fan service. He is literally suppose to be there for the story. Rengoku is already there in the manga during the scene of Tengen's flashback way before they made the Mugen Train arc a movie which made him more famous.

I see this animation setting standards for new anime in the future, how they blend things is beautiful and if other studios are smart on studying their competitors, they gonna adapt too.

nezuko still breaks my heart. that time she cried was the first time she truly realized she had lost her family in a slaughter, after seeing tanjiro get injured and hearing her mother's lullaby, and she never got to grieve for them. plus demons don't age, mentally or physically, they can manipulate their body but it never changes. hence rui from season 1. i wonder if her awakening a power similar to upper moons is gonna coincide with how long it'll take for her to recover through sleep.

Correction, demons don't "age" but they do somehow mentally. Like if you have lived for centuries, u would of course have more knowledge and maturity if that counts as aging.
Also, if you wanna counter with Daki crying, it was just a tantrum (cuz of how she is/personality) and not cuz of the fact that she was 13 when she became a demon.

@@Arifudesuu yeah, definitely. experience over time as a demon definitely plays a role into their characteristics and thought process. nezuko doesn't necessarily have it yet, but it's clear she'll learn over time.

@@yi27lin85 yeah, that too. she sees her family as people around her, like how she'd seen the young male and female during the fight against the three demons as her two younger siblings. it only struck her now that she realized they were already dead, with the blinks to their mangled bodies when she kicked daki and her mother's lullaby.
I got chills when the first thing to come out of Zenitsu's mouth in his sleep mode was still asking Daki to apologize for the girl..
This is pretty important, tengen isn’t saying that when rengoku or the other pillars are stronger than him. He’s just saying they have more innate talent than him, meaning the his strength is from hard work. that’s why being flashy is so important to his life. Because of the way his father raised him, and his fathers brutal and boring teachings. he wants to reject that because it got his siblings killed.

I don't think Gyutaro "gave" her the eye to make her stronger, he lent it to her to share her FoV and better co-ordinate attacks. That's why Daki's belts were attacking Uzui and Gyutaro's slashes were attacking Zenitsu and Inosuke. At least that's what it felt like to me.

9:57 Tengen took out the Kunai that was in his cheek and hit Gyuutaro with it in the same motion he cut his legs off.
Oh that explains it thanks, i thought that by cutting off his legs, he loss balance and one of the kunai that was launched was able to hit him. This makes sense to me now why in the next frame the kunai on Tengen’s cheek is gone.

They are according to them they enjoyed animating kny because they really love kny or demon slayer, they really do and their ultimate goal is not to make it anime of the year but become the best version of it. if u wonder why they're so good at animating and mixing cgi and 3d well they also get confused, because they said their supports and tools gets better and better and better, they're such a humble company and u can really tell how much they love demon slayer

Even as someone who finished the manga last year...I'm always on the edge of my seat when watching the episodes in this season even though I know what is going to happen. Like it's fucking insane just how good Studio UFOTABLE has adapted this manga

The eye being given to Daki wasn’t just to power up Daki but also so they could work as one even when apart. In the fight even tho Tengin was fighting gyatoro he still had to deal with Daki’s belts and vice hersa for Zinetsu and Inoske, they had to deal with the blood slashes even tho they were fighting the belts
Maybe it was so that they both can see each other's enemies through that eye, the manga is fading from my mind so I don't remember well but it's the good thing so I can enjoy the anime more
The animation for the sound breathing fifth form was SOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful. I wish they showed it for a few seconds longer.

Well both are amazing manga was also good in some things like when the author was explaining things about anger and why anger cannot annihilate all demons from the world and like that not breathing tanjiro was kinda more cool in manga for me it felt like a little long in manga

I love that Tengen have a god complex, but he still have confidence issues with his talents, and he acknowledges how much more gifted some of his comrades are and thinks that he'll never be able to reach their level.

To answer the Nezuko aging thing: Demons have the ability to control their physical appearance, like how Muzan has been a man, woman, and a child. That's why Daki is over 100 years old but looks 20-ish. Nezuko is basically reverting her physical body to her toddler self when she shrinks. Best guess is that Nezuko's adult transformation is basically her in her mid-20's
the thing about gyutaro's eye transfer was, so he could help daki with blood sickles in her fight, while daki could send her obis to assist gyutaro. it's 2X vision for both of them and that's the craziest part. SHIT"S FIREEEEE
Normal Studio: "We did sub-par animation, so we can give a banger fight in the last episode"

A lots of the fight scenes remind me the fight between Saber and lancer/ Archer VS Lancer from Fate which was also made by the same studio. Ufotable has always been on fire when it come to action anime.

3:00 he's not saying rengoku is stronger than him he said that in the train arc rengoku didn't let anyone dies while in the entertainment district arc a lot of people get hurt and dies he's basically saying I'm not rengoku I can't save everyone like he did in the train
He is also implying that rengoku is stronger further emphasizing the talent of him compared to the other hashira
uzui is pretty low on the hashira power list. rengoku was i'd say top 5 before his untimely death, and is in fact more formidable than uzui. however all the hashiras are very strong, this is one of the strongest line ups of hashira in the demon slayer corps history.
Well isn't that because rengoku had the strength and discipline to actually ward off a major threat like that?
Y'all forgetting that zenitsu and nezuko help protecting the people on the train that's why nobody died and it's only one demon the Lower One while on the other hand Uzui had to find who is the demon where is his sources/his wife and what happened to them and he didn't even know that there is two upper moon and the other one's blood demon art is blood with poison and the fact that he is not a swordmen he is a Shinobi and still become a hashira is pretty says that he is strong all I'm saying is rengoku had help to protect the people and he knows that something is fishy about that train while on the other hand Uzui had to find his wife find who is the demon and etc I mean he still save a lot of people in the underground shit I'm not trying to argue with y'all I love rengoku man him and uzui are my favorite hashira I don't know why but they're my favorite and both of them doesn't even have marks HAHAHAHA

@@bread6235 Tengen is not low at all right now, he gets outclassed later on but because of things he had no access to. I’d argue he’s at least top four right now, depending on where you put the other hashira pre-Mark
This adaptation will go down as one of the best in history with the way Ufotable is pouring so much effort into it. Absolutely loving it!

The best way to think of Nezuko's condition is like vampirism. When she "died" she basically got frozen as she was, a child. But she's acutally much older than that, and unleashing all her power causes it to catch up with her.
At least that's always how I interpreted it from the manga.
The animation aspect that stands out the most to me about this season is the lighting effects. Look at the fireworks in the intro and effects during the fights... paired with seamless CG incorporation, intense voice acting and fight choreography i've never felt more immersed. Really is like 5D anime 😂

Uppermoon 6 is actually just one demon with 2 bodies, Daki is personally for defense and Gyuutaro is for offense. Plus, Gyuutaro is actually enough to solo this due to his mad reflex and poison.
Gyutaro has a better offense and defense than Daki. He’s the Upper Moon 6, Daki is piggybacking. Manga makes that clear…
@@coop7008 You don't actually understand what I'm trying to say, I'm not comparing the two, I'm stating which role is who as Upper Moon 6 since both of them are 2 people in one, overall Daki's belt has better range + defense feats than Gyutaro's sickle. Gyutaro doesn't have great defense-related feats only thing that sets him different from Daki are his reflexes, but reflex is not a defense-related feat, note that durability, reflex, and defense are three different things. + if you remembered, Daki protected Gyuutaro from Uzui's explosion in episode 14 with her belt, with that scene you can clearly tell that Daki is more specialized as a defense for Gyuutaro, and Gyuutaro as offense for Daki, that's why they are "2 people in one"
1. The ninja may be gone but their martial arts are still being practiced. By the Bujinkan, Genbukan, Jinenkan, and a modernized version called To-Shin Do. They all cover 9 samurai schools and 3 Shinobi schools
2. To me, Tengen is the Batman of the Hashira, the way he uses his ninja tools while fighting is VERY Batman-like.
