I'm thinking since Loki is a god, he probably wouldn't age, and could regrow his skin. If I was Loki, I would take skin. But if I was Mobious I would take spagetti, since it sounds like a faster death.
Judge Gamble: “The Professor” Alphonse Gamble was Marvel’s tribute/ripoff of Doctor Who. Luke Cage and Iron Fist were briefly his companions Broxton, Oklahoma: The realm of Asgard was hovering over this town for several years in comics.
I look forward to seeing how this series builds to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. The premier episode was outstanding. This season also prepares Loki for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.OB is the MVP of this episode. Who Is On The Phone? A visual representation of the Spider-Verse's glitches can be seen in Loki's Time Slipping. For us. Before Ravonna responds, "Always," Kang continues, "For All Time. Renslayer Ravonna, You are truly amazing," the time traveler continues. "I'll be honored to lead beside you. You had an impact on this conflict. I appreciate having you on my team. Based on this dialogue, I'm curious to know how much of a part Ravonna Renslayer played in the previous Multiversal War. Do you get thoughts of The Fifth Element when Loki leaps from a window at the TVA and lands on top of a yellow flying mail truck? It must be a deliberate reference to the scene in Luc Besson's strange sci-fi picture in which Milla Jovovich's Leelo does the same thing and enters Bruce Willis' neon-yellow flying cab. General Dox, the stern TVA official in charge of Sylvie's pursuit, is reminiscent of Mr. Paradox, a similarly characterized TVA judge who appeared in a single issue of She-Hulk in a loose, gender-flipped form. Mr. Paradox presided over a hearing to determine if She-Hulk should be shot by the Retroactive Cannon in classic She-Hulk fashion. Loki usually shows us how to silently connect to the MCU. In this episode, Eugene Cordero's Casey makes a comeback, as it is shown that he is listening to a well-known podcast shortly before Loki captures him. It's the same self-help book that Steven Grant, played by Oscar Isaac in Moon Knight, listened to at the start of the film. It provides relationship counseling as well as breathing exercises. We now require Steven and Casey to collaborate. Sylvie exits the Citadel at the End of Time in Broxton, Oklahoma, in the Loki season 2, episode 1 post-credit sequence. This may appear to be an unremarkable area at first glance, yet it has deeper comic-book links. In Marvel Comics, Broxton is where Thor rebuilds Asgard following the events of Ragnarok. While the MCU depicted New Asgard as being in Norway, Loki season 2, episode 1's end-credit sequence with Broxton, is a nice nod to Marvel Comics. Kang's statue is depicted towering above the TVA in the opening chase action of Loki season 2, episode 1. While this could be seen as a reference to the general antagonist of the Multiverse Saga, it has a more profound connotation. The camera swings back from the monument to the TVA building where Loki is being pursued, almost as though the statue is watching the events unfold. This is an Easter egg for both He Who Remains and Kang's appearance in Loki season 2, with both incarnations of the character ruled over timelines as they watched events unfold. Loki Who Remains.
I'm wondering if OB is more in charge than people think. He hasn't had his memory wiped, he wrote the manual for the TVA, and is apparently in charge of maintaining the tempura loom (as Owen Wilson would say).
Kang did not die in Ant-man and the Wasp Quantumania. The ants foiled his plan and had him stuck in the quatum realm. The council of Kangs gathered together because they want to keep him contained. The black hole theory where one would spagettify, would be far worse. The body is experiencing time at different moments in time and it continues shredding through infinity. The pain would be there throughout. I would rather the getting and skin peeling off because you will at least die from the pain long before you are completely obliterated. 📞
Thank you for this reaction! Where is this all going? The first three PHASE FOUR projects give us the whole direction and thrust of THE MULTIVERSE SAGA. WANDAVISION: introduces us to the Scarlet Witch, the key to solving the Three Problems of the Multiverse Saga (1. The Dynasty of Kangs, 2. The Incursions, and 3. The God-Emperor of Battleworld, Doctor Doom). FALCON & THE WINTER SOLDIER: establishes Sam Wilson as the new Captain America, the hero who will unite the New Avengers to face the Kangs, and more importantly, will lead survivors from Earth-616 to confront Doom. Aided by the Fantastic Four, he will lead surviving New and Young Avengers to Battleworld, all heroes who remember the before-Doom. LOKI: introduces us to 31st-century time-traveler Nathaniel Richards ("Kang-Prime") and his variants, the Kangs. His introduction in “He Who Remains” alludes to the coming of both the Fantastic Four (because all Kangs descend from Reed Richards) and the greatest threat and supervillain of all, Doctor Doom (for all Kangs use Doom’s Space-Time Platform, and based all their time-travel/multiversal transit technology on Doom's Platform). It seems to me that the only way out of the Loop of Endless Kangs is Doctor Doom (Marvel's greatest supervillain). Loki must inform Doom that a 31st-century descendant of Reed RICHARDS (named Nathaniel RICHARDS, aka KANG-PRIME) uses his Time-Platform to make a Multiversal Empire. Doom is the true master of time travel in Marvel, analogous to a Michelin 31-star master chef. AVENGERS ENDGAME time travel cooked up by Stark and Banner using Pym-tech is like an Easy-Bake Toy-Oven method of time travel. When Doom (probably ca. 1960 if reports about the upcoming FANTASTIC FOUR movie are to be believed) finds out about the Kangs using his Time-Platform, he will focus all his thought and will into solving the problems of the Kangs. That may be why the Fantastic Four disappeared in the 60s. And that may well explain why, throughout Phases I--V we have not seen Doom as he was preparing for the Kangs. Fresh out of Ultimate Nullifiers (does Doom send the FF forward in time to steal that dangerous device from Galactus only to be thwarted by the Watcher who warns them off?), perhaps Doom settles for the Scarlet Witch? Maybe Doom prevents her suicide at the end of MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS? If (in AVENGERS THE KANG DYNASTY) Doom convinces Wanda that both her redemption and destiny lie in obliterating the Kangs (like she did to every Darkhold), bye-bye Kangs. Doing this may trigger unstoppable Incursions, earning Doctor Doom his name, and giving him (along with Wanda and Strange) the opportunity to save what they can by making Battleworld (AVENGERS SECRET WARS)? Let's see!
