As a Palmeiras fan, I want to share my thoughts on Luis Guilherme. Since he joined the professional team, he has mostly played as a winger, but he has stated that his favorite position is as an attacking midfielder. In this role, he can help set up plays with his speed to launch attacks and utilize his long-distance shooting, which has been one of his main strengths since his youth days. Over the past year and this one, he has often come off the bench, but it's important to note that he hasn't had long runs in the team in his preferred position and has faced some annoying injuries that disrupted his rhythm. This has delayed his improvement in decision-making. Despite his versatility in playing various attacking positions, his best performances have been as an attacking midfielder. It was in this position that he scored that beautiful long-distance goal, giving Palmeiras a victory.
He hasn't had many opportunities in his preferred position because the starter is one of the greatest and most decisive idols in recent Palmeiras history, with numerous goals in finals. Even though he hasn't been in great form this year, the Palmeiras coach has insisted on keeping him in the lineup to try and recover his form. This has limited Luis Guilherme's chances in his original position. However, both fans and the media have been calling for him to get more opportunities there because he always helps the team and makes it more dynamic and intense whenever he plays. In recent games, it has been noticed that his decision-making has improved as he gained more playing time. It was also noted that he had some anxiety about scoring his first professional goal, and since he achieved that, his performances have improved and become more consistent.
West Ham has just signed a gem that still needs some polishing but has many qualities and has shown growth and maturity this year. He is also a very good young man.
Thanks for sharing! I haven't been watching Palmeiras regularly but had noticed there were some difficulties for him to get starts regarding what is before him. He has certainly had to bide his time more. He certainly won't get time in the PL to improve his decision making initially so I think it may be better to ease him, let him feel the games and tempo before adding pressure for him to be assertive. He is more than that, certainly. However, he absolutely needs to work on the decision making and he won't get time and space he gets typically.

Yeah, he has some qualities that will help him. For expectations, it is worth noting that some of these clips are late in games where he was introduced as a sub so more space, tied players etc. However, if he can develop better decision-making, you'll have a serious player. @@sofaloverdades6555 Lorran is a beast. Brazil probably will lose Paquetá but Guilherme and Lorran have the qualities to step up in Paquetá's role.
