  • Day in and day out Justin Roberts and George Beard search the land for willow and spend their nights working side by side in George’s woodshop. Like two peas in a pod, the age differences disappear; and stories from an era past, along with a beautiful and lost folk art are passed down from one generation to the next.

What a great history story this is. I also have self taught myself over the last 20 years making all kinds of bent Willow furniture and many other rustic furniture products. It truly is a lost art and it is great to see the trade being passed on to the next generation. God bless you both and your families and keep this lost art alive...

I've got a lot better at making willow chairs but i wish there was someone like George that could help me and teach me how to improve on making them. I also wish That there were more people doing things like this so that we could make a "club" or a group of like minded people who just enjoy building together.

These look like they would be incredibly comfortable with a few cushions. So cool :)
