This is so inspiring.Im literally crying but I don't care.My kids asked me why are you crying dad.So I sat them down and replayed this video and explained to them that Philipe,while dealing with adversity,overcame and still chased his dreams.He is now living his dream I told them.I then asked them to look at Philipe and his success and to always remember that as long as you want something,you can have it with hard work, dedication and the will to persevere through any roadblocks in your path to achieving whatever goal you set for yourselves!!!My 5 year old daughter now wants a skateboard!!!One proud papa over here!!!

This dude is so incredible and he hauls so much ass too. I was just imagining how gnarly a face dive off of that last rail would be but he just surfed it down and pulled out of it. I especially like his flick and his backside flips and back overcrooks.

Super inspiring makes you appreciate it more and be thankful you have legs to do it but its pretty nice to know if I lose mine I'll still be able to shred maybe not as good as this guy I certainly dont think I'd be hucking myself down stairs

I'm with you bro, I'm 32 and 230 and I keep a board in my car and get on it when I can. Can still tre flip but it's about 2 inches off the ground.
Santa Cruz makes decks for larger dudes. They have fiber glass or something in the middle. Super hard to break.

I thought the same thing, but considering how he has spent so long using his hands the way most people would use their feet he probably has really tough skin on them.
@PogChamp exactly, I was a postman for 10 years, walking between 10 and 20 miles a day. My feet very rarely get blisters now.

I didn't dislike the video...i love every skater of every skill level....but i usually can put myself into anyones shoes, so i will play devils advocate....
My guess is some people are upset he has his own "welcome to birdhouse" sponsorship, while he isnt necessarily a better skater, but his novelty propels him, so the usual "skill level quota" norm has not been met per se, which can leave some feeling overlooked, even tho they pour their heart into skating, and it means the world to them, they feel devalued....couple that with their inability to add a way like this man has to stand out, and they get a bit upset and hit dislike...just guessing why someone would..
So i dont think its the man, but the sponsorship that makes them bitter....
p.s. im not saying that this man doesnt have a unique obstacle un front of him, so dont get it twisted amd come at me all negative....i got nothing but respect..
