It wouldn’t be practical for a cnc machine to cut the angles on the outer pieces. You’ll have to use a 12” compound mitre saw and a jig to hit the angles. The less letters you do the more expensive. On average you get 4 letters to a 4ftx8ft 1/2in thick sheet of pine plywood. This is for the 3ft letters. I never like to say prices because the prices very from time to time / region to region.
Hey, my business partner @trbvlogs had our machine custom built so there is no brand name. If you don’t already own a machine it can be a heavy investment for just one alphabet. My recommendation is to contract the work out to a cnc business to make the cuts for you.

It’s different at every business. The one I went to before we started running our own CNC had both options.

The letters are slightly different in width to stay consistent with our font.

Do them all. You will profit more and stand out in your market.
What’s it cost to rent per letter?
You charge what’s good for you. I rent for $25-$30 per letter and delivery is extra, setup is extra.
