"I trust you with my family and my future and you don't have five years planned out?" I don't know why but that seems like such a brave statement to make. It would've been so easy to just carry on as was - kudos to Yvette for prompting the thought process and kudos to Glen for stepping up. I learn so much from these two
Thank you for your honesty, so eye-opening. I think there are a lot of men who don't know how to lead, are afraid to admit it and are afraid to ask for help.
My husband and I went through a very similar experience. I asked him directly what is your vision for this family and he couldn’t answer. So i began hounding him about it for months on end. I’m not sure when it shifted though. But he is leading. But it was a very painful time for the both of us. Especially him- I was a terrible wife, at the time. I spoke with so much contempt back then. Praise God, He’s delivered us. But I’m not sure when things got better. I kind of looked up and we were out of the storm. Obviously we were both doing self work, but I can’t say there was an exact moment where He stated:” this is my vision, let’s go” it just sorta started happening. If you’re struggling with your husband not leading, I’d say start with working on being agreeable and work hard on articulating your feelings and now your demands. As well as, be patient. And then when you run out of patience. Do it again but twice as long. God is able.
Beautiful Beautiful. Now more than ever I understand why it is important to follow a man with vision and it's important men are taught from a young age.
I don't understand how women can even stand a man that can't lead... I wouldn't even give them the time of the day cause it would irritate me all day everyday.. but this is a lovely story...
😂😂 and it was an accident 😂 I've never liked the color coordinated thing 🤷🏾♀️ I've watched two of their interviews where they were matching and both times they said it was an accident 😂

"Do it again, but twice as long". Thank you for sharing ❤
Wow. This is eye opening about what leadership in a home is about.
