Hi Colleen! In the start of the video you mentioned stomach pain after eating breakfast. I recommend getting your gallbladder checked. It's common for second time moms to need it removed and milk is a trigger for pain when your gallbladder needs removed.

I actually thought it was so sweet that Kory even had a room in their home! Do your friends have entire dedicated rooms in your family home? It reminded me of the season finale of friends when chandler told Joey that he had a room in their house and it was such a sweet surprise aka not expected!

Hey Colleen! The purple pants are beautiful! If you want to make sure that they stay the same level of color you should use a color fixative on them. The brand of dye you used, Rit, also makes fixative that you can add directly into your washing machine like detergent, so it's super easy to use! If you choose not to fix the color, it will continue to fade each time you wash it, which could be cool if you want to keep trying to make them lighter! Just be careful if you go with this option, because the dyed pants could potentially bleed and stain other clothes in the wash since they're not colorfast!
Kory! My husband has the same thing with big open spaces! He can’t look up at the sky and doesn’t like to look out over big open spaces. It’s actually a form of agoraphobia interestingly! He has learned to manage it over the years, but know that you’re not alone!

I went through a severe depression due to being in an emotionally abusive relationship and I'm 17. And I had no escape, couldn't see friends, couldn't get out of bed, and I started watching your vlogs since the announcement of you having twins, regonising your name from Miranda, and you gave me the escape I needed from my own life, watching you go through a similar depression with your pregnancy and your openness about being on medication, gave me the friend I needed at that time, and you don't know me, but I feel like you're one of my closest friends. Youre vlogs are my favourite part of the day, and I may sound creepy saying you feel like one of my friends, but you genuinely do. I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything you do, and the real joy watching you and you're family bring into my life. You seem like the most positive, genuine people I've seen.

It will get better healing takes time and is not linear but it will get better. As someone who has been in an abusive relationship I recommend starting to do things that make you happy bonus points if they are things you stopped doing because of the relationship. Also when you feel ready start reaching out to your friends because healing is easier when you are surrounded by people who love you.

I completely understand how Kory feels about big open spaces. I always used to look down when walking outside because the vastness of the sky would give me anxiety. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Hi Colleen! just a side note about Fiesta and "confetti eggs" they're called cascarones (pronounced kahs-kah-row-nehs)(which is the spanish word for eggshells) and they've been used for centuries usually around easter time and other Mexican cultural celebrations. Love that you enjoy partaking in this tradition, just be sure to credit the origin since it's a cultural practice

I love the idea of renting for you guys! This way, if after 6 months, you end up not liking where you're at you can go back to your own house and try again. Tell Kory that agoraphobia (fear of open spaces) is actually very common. When I'm overwhelmed I really like a small room to calm my mind. I love the purple pants, by the way! They look amazing on you!

Hi Colleen! I'm lactose intolerant and I can totally relate. With me, an empty stomach and stress are what make my intolerance way worse. But whenever I really want to eat dairies but not get sick, I take lactase enzymes. It's just a supplemment with the enzyme that breaks lactose into tinier pieces so your stomach can digest it easier. I don't live in the US, but I'm sure you can also find it at your local drug store or supermarket. Love you and hope you can enjoy better your milk this way!

Try Meyenberg goat milk, tastes just like regular milk has less lactose and More nutritious and easy to digest~!

I also have a fear of big open spaces. it’s part of my agoraphobia, which also includes like a fear of leaving my house alone, a fear of not being able to leave a place if i want to, always needing to have an exit, etc. obviously i’m not saying he has this but i also have severe ocd and that like feeds into my agoraphobia. anyway. idk if this is even helpful lol. love y’all lots!
i forgot to mention! agoraphobia is essentially just an extreme manifestation of panic disorder.

i know you already came to calgary, BUT you have to come again during stampede week and take your family with!! it’s so fun, there are rides, shows, games, food, fireworks, etc and it’s a huge part of calgarys culture!!
Vanilla Unsweetened Almondmilk is the only non-Dairy milk that I think tastes REALLY good. like I could drink a glass of it if I wanted to. I swapped to it years ago for cereal and baking and it has made all the difference in my tum tum issues

Hey Colleen! I’m also partially lactose intolerant! I agree that many milk substitutes can taste not as good as expected! Especially the more watery ones. I really recommend the brand Earths Own Oat milk. The consistency is pretty much the same as milk and it can be easily frothed when making lattes. The flavour is really subtle too so it’s not, in your face nut flavour. It’s not milk but it’s pretty darn close!

Where I live, I can even find regular milk with no lactose. They just break down the sugars with something, an enzyme I think. It tastes exactly the same as regular milk, I promise, there really is no difference. I'm sure something like that exists in the US too!

For your tummy troubles: I recommend taking the lactaid pill! It's like one chewable pill and it'll help you process milk easier so you can drink whatever milk you prefer and it's just one small thing to take before your cereal!

Just a heads up! Some people (myself included) are allergic to these little stinkers! I thought I was severely allergic to dairy for years because every time I’d try it I’d take a lactaid beforehand. Took me forever to find what the trouble was 😭

Hi Colleen!! I love the purple pants I think they’re so you!! That said, it is strongly recommended that you no longer use the pot or any utensils used while dying them with any sort of food. Even after being cleaned, they can be toxic! Just want to keep you and your family safe!

I’ve always been subscribed to her vlog channel but I never really watched her videos but ever since she started posting vlogs everyday I’ve been more engaged I can’t go without watching them since the first day of quarantine when she planted the sunflower literally love her videos so much and they make me so happy and I love how open she is with her emotions and everything she’s gone through 😭

Kory I have that exact fear! I’ve panicked in big open spaces most of my life. I can’t even stand in the middle of a field without panicking. I’ve always told people it’s the opposite of claustrophobia and I’ve never heard of anyone else experiencing that.

I have the same issue with milk, specifically w/ cereal bc that’s really the only time I drink milk. Milk alternatives taste like trash to me but a lot of it is a consistency issue for me! 🤢 The ONLY thing i’ve found that I can tolerate is Fairlife’s lactose free milk, it tastes and feels identical & doesn’t give me the bubble guts 🥳🥳 hopefully you see this and it helps ❤️

I drink oatmilk, but only two specific brands because a bunch of them taste horrible to me! I think there are a lot of bad alternative milks on the market.

Have you ever tried a lactaid pill when you eat dairy. They are life changing if you have a dairy sensitivity. I don't have emergency 💩's anymore, lol.
Also, you said you want to make Miranda walls, what about using room dividers to make the office space more cosy? You could decorate the dividers instead of the walls and move them around to reconfigure the space when needed. :)

Speaking of closets... My eldest daughter, who is now almost 28 spent her first year in a closet...I had a one bedroom apartment with a fairly big closet which became her room essentially, it had her crib on one side and my clothes on the other but I never shut the door to her 'closet room' so she literally 'came out the closet' 😅 so I get what kory is saying about being in the smaller room!

it’s an ADHD thing
When I discovered I was lactose intolerant I wasn't just in pain after eating cereal with milk, I felt ill, couldn't move, had to lay down and rest for several hours. So since I wanted to get a few things done and not be sick for hours every day, I stopped drinking milk. I think it depends on what the consequences of the action are... feel good!

Hi Colleen! I am lactose sensitive and things like milk and ice cream will upset my stomach but cheese lower in lactose (cheddar Swiss parmason) and lots more. So that could be it or something completely different. Your an amazing mom person and performer keep doing you!❤️

Hey Colleen! Thanks for another great vlog! My husband and I ( no kids) just sold our house and moved twice and it was hellish! So, the fact that you did it with 3 kids and pets and still manage to share your life with us via vlogs, that makes you a Rock Star in my books! Also, regarding the pain you experience and the pooping issues (frequency) you have mentioned in the past…please go see your doctor. It could just be lactose intolerance and it could be a symptom of IBS or worse-IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). It never hurts to get it checked out by a physician. Take care!

Hey Colleen! I’m also lactose intolerant and goat’s milk tastes very very similar to cow’s milk but doesn’t make my stomach sick. So maybe that could be a possible alternative ?
