I love hearing your story in full! Thank you for sharing 🌻
This is such a helpful and insightful video, thank you for sharing your journey! You're absolutely right that everyone blossoms at their own pace in their own way. I feel both comforted and inspired after hearing your thoughts, thank you:)

I loved this so much! Thank you for sharing and the resources are incredible. I am starting my own ceramics journey and it is daunting. But hearing yours makes me very excited to keep going.
I loved this video!! I’m excited to hear you talk about glazes!
I loved hearing you share your story! I have worked at a paint your own pottery studio for a few years, and am interested in owning my own studio one day! Not only do I love your work, but your videos are always so calming and bring so much positivity. I would love to see more videos about the glaze process & firing!🤍
Yes, yes, yes on your Q&A , you hit it spot on😊 I loved your story and am so glad you popped up on my feed this morning...subscribed!
Thank u for sharing!!! I definitely look at a lot of people being amazed they can do pottery full time but don't often hear their journey which puts things into perspective, much needed comfort that I can do it one day 🥰💖🌸
I thoroughly enjoyed hearing more about your ceramics journey! I would love to see your glazing process and how it all comes together. I’ve started my clay journey this year and getting into all things glaze has been quite intimidating materials wise 😅
Thank you for sharing your story, it’s very inspiring, everybody’s journey is completely different and that makes it special, keep doing what you’re doing, you’re doing an amazing job💕👌 thank you thank you
As always so, so calming and soothing to watch. A Glace video would be very interesting.
I really love your vids and could not wait for my lunch break to watch it. Im only just beginning my pottery journey so you are a big influence. Much love from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤.
Polymer clay kids unite!! 💛I absolutely loved hearing every part of this. I struggle a lot with getting caught in the comparison loop and with feeling like I should make things people want to buy. Like you said though, everyone progresses at their own pace and has different goals. Perfect reminder, thank you! This was so inspiring.
PS - how did I not know about Glazy? Mindblown.
hey Lauren, thanks for sharing your journey! I came across your channel a couple months ago (the algorithm knows I've been taking pottery classes) and really enjoy your approach to business and the way you prioritize balance in your life. you're so cool and inspiring! :3

YAAAAAY!!!! Great video🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi for Calgary! It's so inspiring to see your journey and how far you've come! I've always wanted to start pottery but it's definitely very overwhelming! I'd love to see your glaze process! Maybe you could do some zoom classes in the future?
Thank you for sharing your journey. I get nervous about the idea of starting an Etsy account but eventually want to do this.
Love the throwback footage! Had no idea you were from Toronto. Love seeing more and more POC ceramicists!
thanks so much for being here!! do you have any faves I should be following too? :-)
Great video girl, just followed on IG. Interesting to see more development
i love your videos! i watch you from Spain
thanks for sharing! I wonder what cone you fire to and if you have experimented with high/ low fires, your pros and cons of both?
Thinking about staying my own pottery business any one got any advice
Are there any beginner ceramics books that you recommend?
i would be interested to know how much clay you use to throw a tumbler and the best ways to apply underglaze and glaze. I have such a hard time painting it on consistently. Also when Im throwing before I take it off the wheel I smooth down the sides with a rib but no matter what it ends up being rough and having texture that I end up seeing through the glaze. How do you keep your clay so smooth?
If you underglaze on bisque you can sand down the surface to make it more smooth before applying underglaze. You might need to wash the bisqueware before underglazing/glazing depending on how much sanding you do.
Hi Lauren! I found you not too long ago and I'm loving your down to earth style. I am a new potter, hand building like you when you started. I made 17 flasks which I thought were pretty decent, and I put them on etsy a couple weeks ago for a very reasonable price. No sales...my question is, how long did it take for sales to come in on Etsy? Thanks for your videos :)
Catherine
hi catherine! I started with selling on etsy but I do feel like doing local markets / pop-ups at local shops and posting lots on instagram is really what started to drive my sales! but hope you don't get discouraged, it's pretty normal for it to take a while to get sales when you're first starting out. I don't think I got my first sale on etsy from someone I didn't already know for over a month! :-)
Hi,Thankss~uper job! farewell! 🤞
