I am trying to make a sky background and I want a cloud layer and rain layer that would be separate materials with transparent backgrounds, SO is it possible to layer transparent pngs as different materials on a single object?
How can i use the displacement for concrete material for text? i mean so it dosnt look so flat on edges of the text and gives it a more real look? im having a hard time doing so grrr :-) any pointers would be great! Thanks!

You import it from Photoshop . use the quick select tool select click on the logo get every part except the 3d , and then right click . add work path , then goto file export work path and then save it as .ai then goto the file open on c4d , then connect a nurb to each part of the logo , and boom your straight!
Love how quickly you get to the point and are still 100% understandable. Awesome
fyi displacement works on a sphere, you need to disable 'Render Perfect' under in sphere settings.

how come when i drag the material onto my logo it just changes to a solid or regular colour eg. blue/ green? Someone help pls
