Found you and you singlehandedly turned my experience from "oh man I still gotta do yoga tonight" into "today was a really rough day I can't wait to roll out the mat tonight" and I'll be forever grateful for this. @@nyghtryder3446 yes absolutely. My days are usually better. I get angry less frequently and am just overall more calm and present. I still have bad days but they're few and far between and yes they do still get really bad but yoga just helped me to care for ME once a day. And that little bit of self care indeed went a long way. I wish I would have started yoga years ago but I'm very grateful that I made it a habit now. You have absolutely nothing to lose. Do it. And also physical benefits I'd say is just being more grounded and a bit more flexible and less restricted in everyday movement. I don't work out so I only do the yoga but it just makes me feel better about myself overall.

I don’t know if you’ll see this but I’m in a stressful phase of my life and getting to take time to do something like this after running and remember to really replenish my mental strength has been very very good for me. I’m writing this right after exercising and following one of your 15ish minute videos and I’m feeling pretty good. Will be recommending to my friends and family

Hi! For toning you’ll want to look into a more challenging yoga routine or pilates (i have quite a few). Stretching isnt a workout of any kind and does not necessarily strengthen muscles. Toning is the idea of “tightening/strengthening” your body. Stretching cant do that. Hope this helps ❤️❤️
You never want to add pressure where theres no mobility. If your forehead is not on the mat in puppy pose comfortably then you should either place a block or books under your forehead for added height and support so that you are not hanging/suspended in the stretch. You can also engage by using your muscles so you are supported. However if something doesn’t feel right you should always skip it.
