I started exploring the Bible at the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. I finished the Genesis audiobook on March 31, 2020 and today, on August 8, 2020, I'm finishing the book of Revelation audiobook. Believe me, the journey has been a rollercoaster. There were many times where I lost hope and almost completely rejected the bible. There were times when I felt like I was falling into some cult, but I noticed that during my breaks from the Bible, I noticed many things in my life that related so closely to the stories and occurrences in the Bible, and these would bring me back to listen to these videos whenever I stumbled in faith. Every now and then I still stumble, and I may stumble again in the future, but for today, I pray and focus on the present moment. It's amazing to think that when I started, I honestly wasn't sure I'd make it to the end (at least not this quickly), but here I am. Genesis to Revelation, "cover to cover". Glory be to GOD! Thank you for uploading all of these for other truth seekers to experience the Word of God in a way that would've been impossible in any other time period in history - Sincerely, a spiritually hopeful student at Harvard College :)
Amen, I’m glad you stuck with it! The word of God satiates us with spiritual food. For people who are brand new to the Bible I would recommend the New Testament first but I did the same thing as you when I got my first Bible

I'm 72 and I was saved by the grace of GOD, through no merit of my own in 1976. Ephesians 2: 8, 9. I've been studying scripture for 45 years. 2 Timothy 2:14,15. This past year I have listened to the Bible... hearing the Bible brings a special blessing. Studying the scriptures "in context" and cross-referencing the WORD (& Doctrine) through the Bible adds to your knowledge... understanding. Taking GOD at HIS WORD...and applying the truths of the Doctrines of GOD'S WORD is wisdom. James chapter 1. I pray to GOD Almighty that HE will bring you to the knowledge of HIS Saving Grace...if you are not they're already. There is a true statement repeated by some, such as the fantastic teacher, the late Dr.. Chuck Missler. (A brilliant mind and a dedicated student was he.) "The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed; and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed". So true! You might enjoy Dr. Missler's study-commentary on Genesis, Revelation & many others too. I've studied many books of the Bible under the Teaching Ministry of many godly teachers. I believe Chuck was right about the connection between the Old & New Testaments. The longer I "study" and the more I "meditate" on large portions of memorized scripture... The more I am blessed and impressed by the perfect Wisdom, Sovereignty, Mercy, Grace, Love and uncompromising Justice of GOD. I don't know how, but I believe GOD that HE will right every wrong. I am so grateful that HE proved HIMSELF to be exactly whom HE says HE is in HIS perfect WORD of TRUTH. John 1:1-36. John 17:17 2 Timothy 2:15-17, 2 Timothy 3:16,17. John 14:1-6, 27,28. Dear Lord my thoughts are so evil and dark, I can't get rid of them alone but I don't want to have them in my head ever again, please remove all evil thoughts I have and if anyone in Christ sees this, please pray for me I use to be proud of how much "evil" I could think of without even trying but now all I want is for those thoughts to leave and never return in the name of Jesus
Look for the roots. The cause of the evil thoughts and cut them off completely. Read the bible more and pray to God even more. Everything will be okay as long as you follow God. God bless brother

Yes. I retired from teaching at age 69 and end of year 2019. I set out to read the "Word of God" from Genesis to Revelation. I am about to start Genesis for the fifth time. Incredible how much I enjoyed it and almost as if I discover something new every time I read through the chapters. Thank you to those who made the word of God available to us in this way. I believe its the 12 apostles and the 12 sons of Jacob(tribe of Israel) but I would recommend praying about the answer to be certain for yourself:)
