What a hauntingly beautiful performance. Gives one goosebumps. The tenor is terrific. He sings so effortlessly. The choir and pianist is also brilliant. Beautiful. Good heavens that last high note is heartbreaking beautiful. Fantastic performance.

Love the German original (Shrier is not my favourite for German) ,,, I prefer this Russian version more.
Пение с сомкнутыми зубами очень на любителя.Звук получается прижатый,плоский,неинтересный.Поёт очень манерно.Роль Юродивого из оперы М.Мусоргского наложила сильный отпечаток.Peter Schreier больше нравится.
А надо, чтобы рот до ушей открывал. В этом и есть великое пение
