    First I thougt it would be wrong to call it tricks, but after watching the video - it was actually magic. I saw one about scandinavian opening and I think may be a couple of times I've been in those situations. I also like the level of analysis. Good job.

    Thank you for uploading these videos. The tricks are amazing, pretty self explanatory and forcing, instead of just playing "hope chess" as other people often call it, where your move is only good when your opponent plays a bad move in reply. Do you have any recommendations on how to practice to memorize openings and tricks like these? I often forget move order.

    Yeah nice video,but actually,in Bg4 line,after h3 black can play Bxf3 and dirty tricks ends.I´m recomending to watch two games I will put here links to see why I don´t play this line as white anymore:
    www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1044092 or
    www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1072749
    games by Paul Keres(Black) vs Fischer(white)
    or by Tigran Petrosian as black vs Fischer :
    www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1044100
    of course,its a good and playable line but I recomend it for blitz or rapid games.
    Also,you probably forgot to mention that in the line where black plays d4,after c3 and dxc3 Nxc3?! is not so great by white,instead I recomend bxc3 with the idea of d4,Ng3 and bishop on c4,or somewhere else,where white looks comfortable.
    Also in line where black plays d4,after c5 c3 Nc6 white can take on d4 cxd4 cxd4 and Qa4!,and winning a pawn.By the way nice work.

    First I just watched this video, because I started playing the Caro-Kann and didn't want to have some nasty surprises - so I always played 3....; Nf6 or 3....; Bg4 4. h3; Bxf3 - and never had any problems. But since then - because I also like to open the game with 1. e4, I was winning about five games with these tricks and mostly against stronger opponents. Well, its their fault, if they play the Caro-Kann and didn't bother to search for it on youtube ;)

  • @pk-fi1ok
    @pk-fi1ok 5 лет назад

    1) thanks for the nice video :)
    2) 8:44 Talking about dirty traps, there is a better move here, Ne5. If Bxd1 (queen) then Bxf7 mate and if Qd4 or Be6 then the position for black will be worse than the one you show.
    3) 12:45 That is just a detail in the position - complete lost for black and leading to mate in 1 anyway - but you say "...and king has again only space left and that is f4..." which is not true, the king also has e4 where the next move is of course d3#, but this time the d-pawn is checkmating ... and we all love when it happens, right? Lol...:)

    Thanks, have been looking 4 it all day what is the line after e4,c6, Nc3,d5, Nf3, dxe4, Nxe4, Bf5....hard to find as everybody thinks that line is old. Yes it maybe is, but l’m new to chess!

  • @matthew-chessgamingandmore7222

    On 8:05, why is it important to play Bg5 first? If you play Bd3 right away and black play Ne4 and you respond with Bxe4 what is wrong with that. Even if black queen manages to escape via f6, you are up a knight?

  • @alexandrebailly9363

    Today I won from a 1700+ player at 15min+20 sec per move using the two knights attack. I must say that I watched 3 times the video. Now that the trick worked once for me I will hopefully never forget it.

  • @Chikov2
    @Chikov2 Год назад

    @11:41 Black can capture the G5 knight with the pawn. When white plays Nxe7, black will respond with Rge8 pinning the second knight and capturing it on the next move.

    Computer or chess engine recommend that move Nb6 (10.37sec) ? hmm.. that's right, only fritz 5 may suggest that move, as well as some old chess engines, but modern chess engines never suggest anything like that.

    GJ, at 08:42...white has a better tactical shot instead of bxe7,...ne5! then if black greedily take the white queen..bxd1, bxe7 is mate! That black king is a gonner! then if he defends the mate, white still wins a piece with nxg4.

    hello sir, in the timeline 6:40, what if black queen plays C7 instead of D7. it will simply defuse the plan of white queen moving to E5 and attacking the black rook. moreover, if queen played c7 , what will be the sequence for white to mate the king.

  • @FallenArchAngell
    @FallenArchAngell 7 лет назад

    Have you check all this with a comp? cause most of them are not sound?! Also you are not referring to the rating of your opponents and the time controls of the game! maybe it works on the internet blitz games... However what's your ELO anyway?

  • @harparkrat1

    In the last final example the black should play h5 instead of h6. Also even after h6, d5 pawn could be defended with Nf6 other than e6 barring the road to the queen.

    11:36.... after the pawn takes the night on G5 knight can not recapture the black bishop because then one of the black rooks can put the knight into a pin and win the night easily. if the knight moves, then black has mate in 1.

    OK, but it seems that most tricks presented throughout the internet or outside it teach how to win using white. This sounds like 'let's face it, it's a white game' to me, the most depressing and unsolvable handicap of chess, unfortunately.

    in the second variation where the black d5-pawn takes the e4 pawn threatening the knight on f3 and is captured by the other knight on c3 which takes the black pawn on e4 the black bishop comes to f5 threatening that knight and so the knight retreats to g3 threatening the bishop but why would the bishop retreat to g6 instead of g4 threatening and pinning the knight to the queen and is the trap over if he does that?
