Loneliness here is deeper than I ever imagined. When you try to explain to people back home, they assume we are exaggerating. Everyone you meet is busy with daily hustle so there’s no time for friendship. I miss home badly and I have built stronger connections with folks back home so I don’t end up dying from depression

Moving abroad is a real emotional rollercoaster coaster. It can really get lonely plus ur expectations might not match reality and making new friends can be so hard for some people. You just have to do it by creating your own little community and network before depression sets in. Have someone to always talk to because loneliness kills faster than Malaria.
