♦️This “documentary” seems to stress only one facet of Jimin, of being “insecure”. Even editing to make the point, without mentioning that at certain times he was working backstage only because he was so sick with bad throat condition, getting over laryngitis. There are so many other sides & facets of Jimin that this “so called documentary “ neglected to show! Lol! JIMIN even had enough self assurance & confidence way back the short time he was a trainee, (6 months as oppose to the 2-3 yrs of the other members), that he even told his Dad, not to worry. Because if by any chance, he wouldn't make it here, he'd for sure be successful elsewhere. Even his teachers always said he had such hard work ethic and belief in himself that he'd be successful no matter what! Even during the 2021 Festa when all members were asked what their biggest yet unfulfilled desire or wish was. As opposed to everyone else. Jimin said I wanted to be a dancer, I was, I wanted to be a vocalist, I’ve succeeded. I wanted to perform on stage, and I’ve achieved all my desires and goals! Of course now he pushing himself even further, creating songs, writing lyrics, creating melodies, as well as being involved in production. Having his hands in every aspect. Also studying, trying to master English to perfection as well, also still training & perfecting his vocal techniques even more, although at this point even vocal coaches have raved about his amazing technical abilities, that many were amazed by, some even admitting that Jimin is their bias! Jimin has always been this way, where if he isn’t able to figure out how to do something, he’ll approach it differently, going about and approaching it an entirely different way, but mastering and figuring out in the end at times an even better solution! Even his math teacher mentioned this on how Jimin came to solve an equation. Jimin even excelled in math and was actually called G-D of Math, filling in subbing for his teachers at times. But I’ve noticed Jimin doing this even in lives while putting Lego’s together, when finding it difficult he’d figure out a different way. JIMIN also has said to army during a live, that whenever he’s made any kind of mistake during a performance, not to worry about him. It really doesn’t bother him that much, knowing he’ll just do better next time. But once again, this so called documentary leaves out so much. Never showing his confidence, his belief in himself, never giving up, but going on, working til he solves as well as perfects whatever he’s trying to achieve, the perfectionist that he is! Jimin since he was a little boy, always had the need not to just learn something, but to become the best at it, like when he wanted to learn Kendo after watching Zoro, the swordsman, from the anime One Piece. He said that he wanted to become the best swordsmen in the world!
I wanted to add that this is a narrative that somehow gets pushed along which I don’t actually understand cuz if you listen to the man, you’d know differently. This man once told his dad that even if he can’t join BH then, he’ll succeed no matter what. This is the kind of confidence Jimin possessed since young. You can’t tell me he is someone insecure. Granted, there are times when everyone of us feels less confident, but painting him as one, constantly insecure guy is a joke to me.

Thank you for saying that! They’ve tried to pin this perpetual inadequacy on him since day one and it pi$$e$ me off! It’s a huge part of the reason that he HAS struggled over the years - I blame that on the label, because at the end of the day, the label has decided on each member’s narrative from the very beginning!
I’m so glad Jimin has decided to stay true to himself and pursue his OWN artistry in solo era and not fallen prey to the superficial, generic western music industry with all of its poisonous ‘trappings’ and people!
His artistry is second to none and his integrity remains intact! That is EVERYTHING in that music business, where artists/singers forget the actual artistry of making music and fall prey to the easy way to fame!

Jimin got where he is today because he is talented, determined, focused, and ambitious. Anyone who's paid attention to his background before BTS would know this. And yes, he is VERY hard working too. Like most people, he did have moments throughout the years (and like most normal people, still do) where he was tired, overwhelmed or unsure of himself, they ALL were, but he was the most vocally honest and open about it. Because of this, he was slapped with the "full of insecurities" label by the fandom. This video is just reinforcing that narrative. No matter how many times Jimin himself has said and shown otherwise. Jimin knows his worth, he knows he is talented. He is just very humble about it.
No one is like jimin. He's honestly the best in everything.

This is updated Jimin info that some aren't aware of:
❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 10, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. For some reason these types of videos (albeit well put together) always hone in on the moments where he used to be insecure and even then I wouldn't even call it insecurity because he's a professional singer so it's only natural for him to want to do better no matter how good we think he is already. It's only natural for him to keep working on his voice and keep doing vocal lessons so he can maintain that vocal tone and stability, it doesn't mean he hates himself or his voice. I feel like a lot of people take his need to do better and his need to perfect himself and they twist it into him being too insecure in his talents to settle for what he has but he should never settle for what he has, there's always room for improvement, even in the most talented beings. The fact that he can even say "no matter how good I get, I'll still always need to work hard" shows you that he's not as insecure as he's made out to be

Words escape me for this young man.😢 like you said Tre, it's sad to see how much he puts on his self, but it also humbles me to see how he has shared so much of his life with us.
He is as close to an angel as I have seen, but I want put any other members down. All these young men have been thru their own trials, and getting thru them are the Best version of them they can be.
But it's the differences of each of them that together make up the Whole of BTS...
I wish all ARMY'S would love each one and support each one, never putting one over the others.
It saddens me, that some are so harsh to a few members and only support one or two of the guy's.
These young men have gone thru so much , together and as Jimin said been brought so close by it all. They truly love each other.
But sadly, like RM has said, some ARMY'S have changed, the guys can see it. They know more than you think. They see when you put a member down for or in the name of " loving" another member and I feel it really hurts them to see fans do that.

Jimin is a perfectionist and if his voice cracks he is so hard on himself! The other members have tried to tell him it’s ok and reassure him but it really bothers him.
I love to watch and learn more about the guys. I was expecting a more comprehensive look at Jimin but this was not that, It emphasize a side of him only. I think Park Jimin introduction 2023 would also be good to look at. It would fill in some of the gaps this left out.

I disagree that Jimin’s success is through effort alone (what JK said)! Jimin has an immense amount of talent, he came into the group with it and has developed it into the world superstar that he is! He is the most versatile of all of the members…that’s not from effort alone!
well you don’t know jimin so thank god this literally meant nothing lol. he’s not the most versatile (that’s jungkook) and to the day he keeps echoing that he needs to get better, needs to work harder, not because he’s just always aiming to be better but because he’s severely lacking in many areas (what jm said!). he gets help consistently from main vocalist jungkook and always says he’s the best in their group so i’d take their words over yours who’s obsessed with him being dishonest so you can get an ego trip over solo stanning him. he’s great but accept what he knows about himself and stop crying. stan someone better if you’re so embarrassed you have to lie over the facts and speak for him… lol embarrassing
