I really like the explanation, ( mirror 1 to mirror 2) but what if the first laser dots is not in the centre, - adjust the screw in M1 until centre, then check the secind dot,, not centre,, so adjust the same screw at M1?

A good explanation of how to align mirrors of a laser. What happens, however, if the laser dots, after they are directly over top of each other, are not in the centre of the mirror opening (acrylic)?
