The problem with India in general is the mixture of mindset. On one side we are moving towards a Capitalist approach in our economy and trying ways to increase profit and finding ways to lure workforce through lucrative paychecks (with hidden Claus 😉). At the same time, we still are stuck with the age old approach of "Babu Sahab" Culture (Colonial mindset) where the people at hierarchy treat masses like 2nd or 3rd grade animals. So the amalgamation of two distinct ways created this sort of toxic environment the byproduct of which are people like this lady boss.
