I totally agree with you with regard to 35mm V 50mm. 35mm all day long for me. I want one.

@blackwoodoutdoors5015 does this give you the same field of view as the 35mm Condor? I know both are 35mm but just wondering if the base mag on this would narrow the view?

They both have identical field of view as they are both 35mm focal length and 640x480 12 micron, although the Habrok has 3.0x mag vs the Condors 2.0 mag, so basically the display image is enlarged, FOV is identical as mentioned.

Hi Jim, do you reckon these are Hiks answer to the Infiray Gemini? I would have loved a pair of the Gemini's as I wanted a daytime mode with LRF but couldn't justify paying that much for them. Then the Condor was released and I thought I could do without the daytime mode, but now the Habrok has been released considering getting these instead! My only worry is that the base mag on binos would be too high. (I shoot rats from 10 yards to foxes up to 300) and soon hope to get to do some deer stalking. Not really sure what my question is but would love to know your thoughts in general. Really like your channel by the way, keep up the good content :) Sam.

@samhumphrey8331 Hi Sam thanks for the question and for the comment regarding my channel I appreciate it mate. I would say yes looking that these binos they probably are hiks answer to the gemini. And I must admit these have really caught my attention I would love to try them out myself. If I'm honest any questions you have about these ask Ian as he has them, I wish I could be of more help mate but like you I've just seen them.

How will it compare with, say, a Pulsar Merger?

The Merger XP/XL provides a better thermal image and more target detail IMO, but it is a lot more cash ..
