Bert’s wrong here. Black fraternities and sororities have been around forever. My whole family was part of em when they were at FSU in the late 60s - 70s!
Black fraternities have been around since the early 1900’s over all ! 🤝🏾

@@sethe171 I have my bachelor and master degrees from FSU and a life member of the FSU Alumni Association. Until now, I he never heard of this Bert guy. What I do know is that FSU has 5 black fraternities and 4 black sororities, with the oldest be established at FSU in 1969! FSU's first black Homecoming Queen is a member of one of those sororities! One of the black fraternities has had more Homecoming Kings (fourteen) at FSU than any other fraternity at FSU in its history. FSU`s Heisman Trophy winner, Charlie Ward, is a member of one of those black fraternities. The black fraternities and sororities at FSU have and continue to make a hugei impression and impact on the campus, Tallahassee and worldwide!
