Excellent series!
Thanks for posting!
Awesome. I was looking at some high end axes and hatchets today, but for the first time I saw some with the phantom bevels. I now know what they are and their purpose. Thanks!
Outstanding series. I love that the axes that he's showing are obviously very old by the way the patina looks. Nice work my friend. Keep up the good work.
great series so far! I salvage old axe heads from sales and restore them. with the exception to one, all cleaned up good enough to rehandle with minimal work. The handles usually cost more than the original axe heads. One double bit axe was severely abused by beating the eye closed to tighten up a rotten handle. I ended up cutting it down to make a double bit Nessmuk style 3/4 hand axe. Too bad that it had been abused that way.
i learned a lot from your blog... welcome on youtube!
Great stuff so far! Keep them coming!
great video series!
@Maper555 The usual problem that people have when sharpening is that they do not let the stone touch the actual edge.
Thank you.
good stuff
@dingodavid I agree with you completely.
Thanks. I tried to put them as a response to The Axe is Back Project. I'm not sure if it worked.
