- A 30-year-old shopaholic who's been without a home on more than one occasion is counseled. Behold the Princess. You know the type - living a fabulous life, while her debt accumulates, and family and friends foot the bills. It’s time to grow up and get real.
Financial planner Gail Vaz-Oxlade tackles the newest generation of spoiled spenders. Over a four week period, Gail takes away these Princess’s credit cards, puts them on a cash diet and challenges them to start achieving goals. Using her no-nonsense tough talk, Gail confronts, cajoles and guides these spoiled Princesses as they transform into self-sufficient young women.
She doesn’t feel like she owes her brother? And she called it her “hard earned money” as if it wasn’t HIS hard earned money first. This princess hasn’t learned a thing.

A lot of these women give off bratty vibes but this is the first one I have seen where she actually seems like a sociopath or something the way she speaks to her family and uses them.
Why not send her to counseling? She clearly hasn’t properly grieved the loss of her father.
I think her issues and selfishness started well before then. I wouldn't be surprised if her father hadn't been bankrolling her beforehand.

I lost my dad at 21 and yet I'd never do that to my brother. I have my own house with my significant other now and before that I lived with my mom & paid rent. Losing your dad is no excuse. But I do see how people can use shopping as self-medicate method for dealing with loss

All I see is a sad young girl who thinks very very little of herself. Who has disconnected from growing up. The way she speaks with zero remorse may be honest but doesn’t make her less sad.

I enjoy this show. Gail has so many different challenges and tips, hacks, etc to make good financial choices and decisions. BUT is it realistic to believe that people like these make a TOTAL lifestyle change in 4/6 weeks? Also are the ENABLERS going to change in 4/6:weeks? This has been part of their behavior as as well. I wish there had been follow-up shows, about a year out, to see if the good financials choices/ decisions are being made.........?????

Back in the 80's, and before, many schools did have Home Ec, and budgeting, banking, and saving money were part of the curriculum.

She absolutely came alive when she challenged shoppers and caused some to return items which they’d bought on impulse. If she were able to find a job which helped people to cut up their credit cards this would help turn her life around. I wish her all the very best with all that Gail has taught her.

I used to watch this show back in the day with my Mom, I somehow never saw this episode and it's good to see a first nations 'princess.' I am from a native family too and I could have ended up like Jennifer. I hope she improved with time.
She has a wonderful brother! He seems like such a great guy! She's a pretty girl, but her demeanor of constantly smiling and laughing annoys me.
Really. when I was a teenager (17) living at home I cleaned and changed the cats litter box every week. Plus other housework also. I even bagged up the garbage when I realized it wasn't being done. Nobody asked me to do it I just did it. Cooked some meals also but my mum was better at this plus she was better at baking bread and pies.

I really think this should be longer, like 3 months long. But it's TV. I just recently came across this, had never heard of it & it's clearly at least 7-8 years old. I'm thinking it only ran for 1-3 seasons.

I am a Gail fan. I love Til Debt Due Us part and have started watching Princess. This is my favourite princess not because she was fully reformed but her honesty. Some of the Princesses seem fake but she doesn’t. Selfish yes but honest.

Asking nicely isn’t being entitled and impatient. Sometimes there’s a legitimate reason why people stop uploading, and if something had happened to the uploader, I can send them well wishes if necessary. At the time I commented they hadn’t uploaded any new content, now I’ve since noticed they’ve started uploading another series and my question was answered. Maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to anger.
