Yeah its good to but some other 'stuff' in. The guys are doing a great job with the edits and sometimes the first time I see the full clip is when I push the button to upload to RUclips.
I have never had a bad JS, your reviews Wooley always get me on the right size of the model. Currently loving my Monster10's for turns, and they paddle well (my monster 20 was epic too). Concerned about paddle power and size, Cant wait to get your feed back on how the 6'3 goes. Keep up the quality reviews.
I'd love to see you review some high end softops (with fibreglass and epoxy under the soft top) like Mick Fanning Little Marley, Ocean and Earth MR Twin and Softech Epoxy series (for example Lil Ripper). Cheers!
I know that wave in Indo you were surfing. I got smashed there on a bigger day, and it was the worst wipeout I ever had. I’ll have to try the golden child one day, keen to give it a go 👍
@@Td35-r5w hi mate. I just had both of those boards delivered to me. Will be starting the reviews on those in the next few weeks. They need to be surfed in good quality waves so they could take me a couple of months to get through them. 🤙
@ Golden Child more like a performance board where as the Schooner is more of a step up but yes both will work in similar waves. The Schooner will handle a bigger wave than the GC.
I never surfed them on the same day but I felt like I connected more on the Golden Child. Just felt a little more sparky and loved the way it pushed through turns. Not saying that the 2.Pro is t as good but for me the GC seem to suit my surfing style better.
Ok fins..... My daily drivers and performance boards I usually use medium fins, I vary the construction until I get the feeling Im chasing. If the board feels too loose I will up the size to a large or go to a solid glass fin. In my grovel boards with wider tails I tend to go straight to a large template and mainly go for the Futures Blackstix as they help generate speed in poor waves. This one felt a little loose, I think mainly because it was a touch under volumed for me, so I did ride it with some large fins as well as the medium solid glass. I have the next size up coming and Im thinking that one will be fine with mediums in it as it has a longer rail line to help hold the board in. Hope that makes sense.....
@@WoolyTV I’m sporting a bit of a skullet myself. I’d like to imagine I look as cool flying along a wave as you do, hair gloriously slipstreaming behind, but alas, all I hear is “look out for Plugger!” 😂😂😂
@@WoolyTV makes sense! I took your advice and got a Raging Bull!! WOAH!!! Talk about a game changer!!! EVERYTHING from paddling to catching waves earlier, to those rails!!! Having more fun now than EVER!!!
Whoever your editor is, you need to keep them on! That stuck ute edit between the waves was gold!

When I go surfing, I always imagine in my head that I’m surfing like you do!
🤣
You can tell wooly was feeling himself on this board, mate was ripping 🔥
Felt good!

I hope it feels the same as the 6'2" but paddles a touch better :)

Great suggestion! I have at least one softboard review coming up next year.
Wooly love the reviews can you do some reviews on asyms boards like twinsman vesper ?
Hi mate, I havent done any Albums as yet. Might need to hit them up.....once I get through the next 10 boards that are sitting here :)

Sure did!
any board that comes from. Parkos vault is gonna be fire. i had a 107 groveller. thing was so fun
Yeah they all seem to work! I like the 107 too

Yeah Its not much fun when its larger.
Will you be reviewing the julliette or power tiger at some point? Cheers for the great reviews Wooly! Ripping!!

looks like its got a bit more hip on it than a Monster 20 etc - gives it a bit more squirt in the pocket. like the look of it for sure 👌
Yeah it has a different outline to the Monsta.
Wooly, thanks for amazing review, as always!
Does it make sense to have this board for Bali or Xero Gravity overlaps GC's range significantly?
Very different to the Xero Gravity, a lot narrower and needs a better quality wave to get moving but when it does geeeeezzzzzz
@@WoolyTVone more question: how would you compare Golden Child to Schooner? They both made for good waves. I am kinda stuck in between 🫠
@ Golden Child more like a performance board where as the Schooner is more of a step up but yes both will work in similar waves. The Schooner will handle a bigger wave than the GC.
@@WoolyTV thanks as always, yawwwwww 🤝
The old dog’s still got it!
Wooooffff
Looks like you got better waves at home than in indo….lucky bastard.
That trip I was only there for 5 days and it was pretty small......
Hey, the old dog still got some grommy mongrel in him 🤙🏼💪🏼
Defiantly a mongrel.....
@@WoolyTV hehe, never let it die mate 👍🏼
Nice!
Glad you liked it
how about Carbotunes...whats thoughts
I dont think the one needs to be in Carbotune but Im sure it would go well. For me this board is no worries as a PU.
how does it go comparing to ci pro 2?

What’s your reasoning on changing the fin sizes on that board and fin theory in general?
Ok fins.....

Did u start with the 6’2 east rider stock dims?
@@MikeOno-h8d yeah all this footage is on the 6’2” Easy Rider but I have ordered the 6’3” Easy Rider as the 6’2” was a tiny bit too small for me.
Fair bit of hairial action going on in the curl 😂
