My great grandmother and great grandfather on my mother's side came straight from Poland the Surname Pavlok, I don't know what hers was but they landed in Detroit until they died. My grandmother lived there after she was married to my grandfather for many many years. She married Brooks. Hearing him say he was 1/2 polish and from Detroit would be funny if we were related or if his family new ours.
@StableStatic I saw him live with DW in 2009 at Ottawa Bluesfest. He came back with the Greenhornes this year, to a crowd of about 30, compared to the DW's 2000 or so. He saw my DW shirt and smiled at me. life. complete. probably the only guy there who actually knew who they were
To nie żadne ADHD,to LATYNOSKI TEMPERAMENT,bo Jack jest też w połowie Mexykaninem i to rdzennym,a więc mamy polsko-mexykańskie Ciacho o niezwykłym talencie i boskiej,cudownej urodzie i to tylko dlatego że Jacuś jest Metysem(pół Indianinem)i nikt mu tego nie odbierze,a już napewno nie ultra-białe media.
Now this is really good with this girl singer . Other wise , she is not that great like the other girls he plays with . Jack White is the best .. And I miss Meg White!! And am half Polish myself..
i see where you're coming from, but in my opinion, if all the posing and publicity doesn't take away from her focus on music (which i don't think it does), alison can do whatever the hell she wants

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Jack White fan, & some of Dead Weather's song are very catchy & fun, but that video where he's in a top hat w/ the eye makeup on, & Allison is throwing herself all over the chair, creeped me the hell out! :|
why is alison so desperately trying her best to look nonchalant? looking at her fingernails she so tryhard, trying to keep up with the three great musicians beside her all she gives to the band is 'her great taste in fashion'
its not that shes not talkative, dont mind her so much anymore, think she should stop posing for vogue and ny-lon and concentrate on the music , its all you hear when you put a record on, without the images bombarded at us for capitalism and advertising. in such an age we need are musicians to be 80 percent music 20 percent or less image.

@RuubyMay You can't actually see that. There's lots of interviews where her cigarette just burns away, and with the close ups, you can't tell.
