Welcome back! Missed you. Thank you for sharing your packing system. I pack like a bag lady using plastic grocery bags, you know, for dirty laundry, shoes, etc. Shoving all of those in a Victoria's Secret cotton duffle bag and a giant Land's End canvas tote. Laughable after watching this. I am a weird one as I also pack 3 pillows. I haven't been to the hospital, but I cannot sleep flat so that is a must for me, just like you, I just can't let myself be a bother to someone. I love your tip for the little something for the nurse staff, I'm thinking of picking up items now , just in case. Love your strength! Happy holidays

I’m so sorry that you have to go through this. I am a pajama hound! I’m obsessed with comfy pajamas. I mean we sleep almost 1/3 of each day, right? I also have some vera pj’s/loungewear. However, my very favorite is Carole Hochman. BUT, only the 100% cotton. Qvc used to sell the cotton, but sadly, not so much now. You can find directly on the Carole Hochman website and some on amazon. It can be pricey but so worth it, no pilling and so so soft. Just my 2 cents. 😊

I’m sorry you were sick recently, but glad you’re doing better! You mentioned the DVD player. Since you have an iPad, maybe see if you can find some favorites to buy from iTunes. I love collecting some of my favorite movies or shows on my iPad so I’ve always got something enjoyable to watch wherever I am. ☺️
Great ideas, thanks!! Sometimes I do download videos ahead of time for when I'm traveling and such, but then they "expire" before I watch them all. Always finding new ways to keep myself entertained on the go!

I am sorry you had to go to "The Spa". Glad to see you back and slowly on the mend. I have the same Night Sky Owl throw, in fact I am laying under as I write this, It's just so pretty. I took a Vera throw to the hospital in July also nice to have the covers are so thin.

Awww Xena, my Spidey Senses were telling me that you might be "away at the spa". I feel for ya, sister. It's never fun, but it sure does make a huge difference when you've got your hospital bag(s) all prepared and good nurses are there for you! Thank goodness for the good nurses!!! I find a strange kind of comfort and even confidence knowing that my hospital bag is on the ready. I've been to the hospital a few times now during the pandemic, but fortunately not as an inpatient. How was it with all the extra covid restrictions? I'm glad you're well enough to be back in the comfort of your home. I know you know the post-spa drill. So no need to tell you what you already know! Lol. Please take your time with your RUclips stuff tho. I'm sure everybody here understands and wants you feeling 100% again. That's the priority! xo
@@jodyluscko202 I know I'm not violating any privacy issues since she has actually already spoken about this publicly. She has CVS which stands for Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome. It's a horrible condition that can often require hospitalization for long periods of time. But Xena is smart, strong, resilient and has a super positive spirit. A real life warrior!

Hi Gen and thanks so much! It honestly wasn't that much different for me since I'm so out of it it anyway. Only thing was that for sure no visitors so it was a very good thing that I had everything I needed all set! Happily home now as our AZ numbers are skyrocketing and hospitals are all FULL!!! Crazy :-(
