I feel like color stories have all been done at this point so whenever a company releases a new palette unfortunately it's most likely been done before by another brand. That’s the problem with companies over saturating the consumers with constant releases. I think it would’ve been smarter for ND to release a palette that is with the trends of spring & summer for this year. Do pastels or something like that instead of a color story that was popular 3 years ago (& she also dupes her old shades in this)
Michelle Lee I swear all her palettes already have sooo many golds and bronzes in them it’s like her default color or something. The ND gold probably has at least 3 or 4 of these types of colors as well. The companies are dumping themselves not only in a lot of their releases but in the same palette. People still eating it up tho🤷🏿♀️
Why? She just showed you a whole video full of less expensive options that are going to get you pretty much the exact same looks as an Alter Ego dupe would.
When I saw the ND Bronze palette I immediately thought of the extra spicy palette! The California love palette is so close too, I have both so maybe I will just pull those out instead! Thanks Jen!

Tbh... I don’t care if the shades look similar. These are all so right up my alley, I know they’d get a lot of use regardless. But ND prices are still way too insane for me. I can’t justify spending that much on coloured powder for my eyes :c

Your swatches are sooo helpful. The bronzes all look so similar once swatched, it’s crazy. Some rose gold and champagne golds would have made this so much more versatile.

This was a wonderful video, thank you! The new Bronze palette looks gorgeous but like you said - the Too Faced Gingerbread Extra Spicy is such a close match. I pulled it out today and used it and I’m really happy with it. It’s saved me from buying this and the newest Sigma palette as well!

I have a lot of these shades already including the ND Metropolis pallet which has her formula, that I personally love, especially her shimmers. I like Colourpop and ABH, as well, but Natasha Denona has the best shimmers in the world and Viseart has the best mattes. You can buy great cheaper pallets, but those brands have jaw dropping quality.

The BH Cosmetics Solar Flare palettes that's on sale for like $12 has v similar vibes. It has so many bronze-y tones. Some red, some pinker, some more golden. Some more taupey. It also has the purples and a shade with a lime-flip. Big difference is that the palette is all metallics, although I'm assuming most people have a lot of brown mattes in varying tones in their collection. The metallics are also very smooth and not textured and sparkly like ND's metallics. Really great palette if you want a similar vibe though.
Awwww man, now I’m regretting ordering this....I will most likely return this now that I’ve seen this video and comparisons. To me, the promo shots looked more cool toned which is why I jumped on it but in reality, it’s another warm toned palette and actually looking more copper than bronze to me. Can’t trust IG product photos, seriously 😐 that’s why this channel is very helpful so thanks Jen!
I know, I bought mine a few weeks before Jen's video came out. Still, I tried to convince myself that I'll keep it but now I'm just not so sure. Especially if CColor, Beauty Glazed, Ucanbe, or Alter Ego dupe the palette 😭 yes the packaging is gorgeous, the palette, the fact that the shadows can be popped out, but good Lord, it's a lot of $$. I wish I would've waited waited for a few dupe videos. I had intended to pop out the colors I don't want or are redundant and put in some from 2 of her mini palettes that I want- I don't even have them lol, so getting 2 of the mini palettes at $25 a pop just to customize a $55?! Like no!!! That's just rediculous ok!!! Ugh, no, no no no.

The colors are gorgeous, a neutral dream, but when I first saw it I thought it was very similar to the ABH Soft Glam. Thanks for showing other comparisons, having the TF Gingerbread Extra Spicy, I can probably come up with some looks that are close to this color story.

Totally agree! I have California love and it looks so poor quality on my skin tone compared to the ND bronze palette. Plus the impact and depth is completely different imo when applied to the lids.

Didn’t even think of it ... the abh is also similar ! Dang girl didn’t even think of that one either ! I love TF formula. I only have 3 of the Natasha Denona minis ... I have 3 of the alter ego dupes and I’m happy with that ! 💛🧡thanks Jen !!!

At first I was really interested in the Bronze palette, it would be my first ND purchase, but I own Soft Glam and rarely use it, so it wouldn't be wise to spend to money on it. Even if I find out I'm missing these tones in my collection, I'd rather buy the Colourpop one.

Thank you for your work Jen! At first I was really interested in the Bronze palette, it would be my first ND purchase, but I own Soft Glam and rarely use it, so it wouldn't be wise to spend to money on it. Even if I find out I'm missing these tones in my collection, I'd rather buy the Colourpop one.
