Just brilliant
Man, the harmony in the first song between the whistle and fiddle is heart breakingly beautiful.
Simply out of this world 🏆
This man is in three different bands; The Brian Finnegan Band, Flook, and Kan.
He is also often seen with the Russian band "Aquarium"! See for example this one: ruclips.net/video/p5qoMwqHc7g/видео.html
Эта музыка лекарство и радость!!!
The Banjo player is Leon Hunt, member of the Scoville units along with Rex Preston (playing Mandolin here) and Ed Boyd (playing guitar here). Well worth checking out. See the video description for a link to their site :)
Extraordinary whistle playing: nice improv, cool moves, and stanima to play quickly for so long!
I have been trying to find a trad song that tops Road To Errogie but i cant find one.. Best trad song ever written
So so damn awesome!

Amazing. Absolutely beautiful!
Just in case anyone's missed it, Brian and Ed came back for the folk festival after this fundraiser gig and you can find videos of that on our channel. Enjoy!
Fantastic!
The last two tunes are a slip jig by John McSherry and a tune Brian wrote after hearing about the release of Aung San Suu Kyi in Burma, called "Queen of Rangoon" :)
That third song is prime!
Kan (Half of the guys in this video) are in Bath area on the 23rd November at Bath Folk Club, so come along if you can! Go to bathfolkclub page for details or check out Kan's gig page for dates near you - see video description for links!
That last tune though!
I usually hate woodwind but wow.
Absolutely bloody wonderful!! Brian is my idol!
"Slide from Grace" is the title of the first of the last two.

@kevinmeehan71 Yes, that is what I meant. A Metloaf which resembles a Hedwitschak. Sorry for this misunderstanding.

What CallanCeltic asked eight years ago, about the instrument the non-bodhran drummer is using, that sounds like a hammered dulcimer. eva65 came back with an answer about the bodhran, which wasn't the question.
Sorry he hes help from the drummer .The bodhran player
this excellent playing ,but does one not tire of the high speed drridley dree reels, it got a bit interesting but then went back to blasting tripletty triddley again, i think they really are all frustrated jazz musicians, well maybe not frustrated but ye know what i mean, they are great musicians ,but then what ,not sure what they are saying , suits a sitty down clappy crowd who like to be awed and bedazzled by experteeze,
Toilets. Lol
TERRRRRRRIFIC!!!!
Wow, awesomeness!
