Thank you Henning, I thought I had my gear accusition syndrome undercontrol but you introducing me to things that I never knew was out there has made it worse then ever .
I pre-ordered a Walrus Audio Lore pedal a few weeks back & then just stumbled upon this. Excellent video, thanks. If the loop puts the insert effect in between the Delay & Reverb, I'll have to try using the Lore in the loop with this. It'll reverse everything & a lot more... I'll add an old blood noise endeavors slider to the expression & this thing should pretty much become a synth. I can't wait to try them both. Organ-type sounds are great through either, too. I'd imagine a Dr Scientist 'Bitquest' would make a great insert in the loop too. I'll try that as well. The Bitquest is probably my favourite of all time. It's the Swiss Army Knife of pedals for me.
One of the few Delay/Reverb pedals with Tap Tempo! I mean the filtering is actually nice but i'd probably prefer to switch Delay/Reverb seperately instead. Also there seems to be no EXP mode for the mix, that's a bit of a bummer. Not sure if i should grab it.
@@colinparks619 Yea, i think it's kinda funny how there's thousands of pedals with all sorts of stange functions but no simple&normal Delay+Reverb in one pedal with these "standard features". At least i don't know one.
Ich weiß ja nicht, ob es an dir und deiner Stimmung lag (zum Moment der Videoaufnahme) oder an meinem jetzigen Zustand....aber so sehr habe ich mich selten unterhalten und informiert gefühlt! Sehr lustig!
I want to get it but it seems like it only does ambient to the exclusion of traditional sounds. I hoped it could do both. All the demos are ambient stuff only.
I've put coffee filters over my reverb but it didn't sound as cool as this. 15 controls on a pedal wow I've had rack units with less controls. love the bubbly sound for ambient sounds :) Squab its whats for dinner...when you live the the park. P.S. the amp wall is getting full if ya need space ya can send me the D20 :) or that beautiful soldano :)
The only thing I find really weird is that the fx loop doesn’t only affect the wet signal. It adds the effects before the delay/reverb and applies it to the dry sound... Why would I want that? I don’t know. Seems to me like you could just add the effects before the pedal. Maybe it saves a tap dance, but it also ruins one of the coolest things since sliced bread: effects on the delay only! That’s so cool, so few pedals do it, these guys make the loop, but fail to use it correctly! Such a bummer!
@@hoover728 I did buy it, it totally rocks. The effects loop is made for when you want an effect between the delay and reverb. Still not really sure what I’d put there. It’s sad. But that doesn’t detract from the fact that this pedal sounds absolutely amazing (in my opinion, of course). I never use the delay or reverb separately, because that’s definitely the pedal’s weak point in sound. The combination is amazing, the separate effects not so much. Weird, but not a problem, seen as the separate effects don’t even have an on/off switch, so there’s that.
Hi. KMA is really starting to be known over here and I am liking what I am hearing. No offense to be given, I love the sounds but I do find the graphics kind of messy and confusing. The big knob in the middle looks like something's head or am I just hallucinating. I have the AstroSpurt and that sounds good but you have to unscrew the backplate to adjust the 5 or so dip switches and knobs and stuff so that's cool if you really want to lock down a particular sound but uncool if you like to go back and forth like I do so if there was an expression input that would have been nice. The Cirrus seems a lot more user-friendly except again for those graphics. I am looking forward to KMA releasing their products in the USA more frequently. I'm getting my Fuzzly Bear soon(I hope) and am excited about that. Great review. I love your show and kind regards to everyone involved especially Enrique and the animals at the end. Peace from Donald Trump.
Hey Chris, sorry for confusing you by the Cirrus artwork. It's always a matter of personal preferences. Totally gotcha and being on your site! The Astrospurt's trim pots shouldn't be touched to be honest as long as you are not familiar what they will do for instance the bias trim pot can fuck up your phasing sound. Also really appreciate your feedback about DIP switches. Those feedback led to the external switches on the horizont. And at some point we will update the Astrospurt as well but nothing scheduled for that so far. Anyway, thank you for your feedback!

Thanks for separating all the different features and not just assuming we want to hear an ambient mess.

Seems to catch tones that remind of ELO back in the day. Righteous.

I like this pedal. Some cool sound scaping.
I'm glad to see you included the exp. pedal. Good job!

Hi there great review ! Do you recommend this pedal or the strymon timeline if you need to choose ?
they are very different
EytschPi42 in which way ?

Oh man, Casey & the Sunshine joke had me laughing out loud
Really? I find his humor unbearable. After watching one of his clips, feel like breaking something to pieces or kicking the neighbor's dog......
If only people had sensitivity knobs. 😒
This would be a great pedal to just zone out with.
hahaha.... that was funny!

I would really prefer people to be manufatured with an On/Off Button.
Does it emulate analog?
