I still get chills, years after singing this with the Men’s Chorus. This is one of the most powerful songs I sang, in my four years with the choir. The slow, bitter moments are only made more powerful by the glory of the truth in the finale. Thank you so much, Sister Hall, for cultivating the Spirit of this piece.

I get chills listening to this every time I listen to it. So glad I got to be a part of it, and so glad that it got published. Incredible work by Rosalind Hall, the fantastic director. Fantastic work by CJ Madsen in the arrangement of this piece. Such an emotional and meaningful rendition of the song that really brings out the meaning.
