I actually stopped playing for a bit when mw2 came out but the constant Ls of apex overerly saturating everything w lgbtq is way too much especially how they removed other legend voice lines that had “man” “ladies” etc is jus like what the actual fuck is going on in respawn. Even actual trans people were mad they did that bc the word man or lady isn’t even offensive in any way that’s just a normal saying
They left the ladies lines in because its ok when a Gay person says it (valks voice lines about ladies all still remain) they just removed all the ones to do with men because thats the problem right 🤦♂

I LOVE a strong female character I watched Buffy and Xena warrior princess when I was a kid Long kiss goodnight with Gina Davis, awesome movie...I LOVED Elli in the Last of us 2 and thought her character being gay made sense and it was hinted at in the first game's DLC and was well developed and made sense and ADDED something to the element of the story of a coming of age story in a war torn world ...We don't need to know the sexual Identity of a videogame character anymore then we need to know about Bruce Wayne's 8 inch uncut cock...totally unnecessary info no one asked for and it's weird that they are forcing people to accept this gender stuff as the norm and anyone who tries to push back on this political messaging gets canceled and looses their career like they shouted the N word at the top of their lungs

I felt like this was a great casual discussion about the character and the voice actor, I don't really understand where the dislikes are coming from. I get that there are going to people who are not happy, but I figured the majority would be more supportive :(

The favorite voice line mentioned in your video wipes all mention of being trans, and simply mentions "horrible/frightening witch." I have thousands of hours in this game and have yet to meet a single player that doesn't make fun of Cat as this aspect of the character was not recieved well by a majority of the playerbase. Also, all the Cat mains I know use the trans witch intro quip as an ironic easter egg, laughing every time they see it. The voice line is absurd, and it's not taken for any more than a joke.
I know (via a discord) thousands of apex players and every content creators comment section, no normal person acts like this and nobody in real life cares to hate trans people this much. I live in the south, in a town that voted for Donald trump, my coworker is openly trans and she’s only had 1 person be weird EVER our other coworkers who are 50+ years old talk about how only miserable people have that kind of hate
