Love how quietly LauraMaisie purrs. Glides through the water like a hot knife through butter and you can still clearly hear all the bird song and other sounds around. Beautiful ☺️
Hi Karen - she certainly is quieter than good old Constanze. Thanks for watching x
Cheers 🥂 Fran & Rich. Hope you both have a great time on Laura Maisie. 🌺
Thanks Kevin - we will x
I so enjoy your RUclips videos. Once in a while I will do a fb post about your videos and how relaxing they are. Just wanted to say keep them coming your doing amazingly. Have a wonderful day tomorrow cruising 💖☺️💖
Thank you so much Lauralie. we have seen your posts and very much appreciate it. xxx
Fran, your scarf is beautiful!
Thank you so much x
Oh how I envy you enjoying life
Very nice episode, chillaxin on the cut. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
That tunnel was scary!!! LOL Glad you didn't get your boat stuck or scraped up.
We did suffer a couple of war wounds!
Back on the move in a lovely new boat, loved the "That was ages ago" slipped that one passed Rich :) Made me chuckle when the penny dropped 🤣
She's lovely! Nice boat, too.
Always find myself humming along at the end.
Nothing like a new boat/home. It is so beautiful 🤩 and shiny! Enjoy!
We agree!
Just love you guys! Great video and loved the music!
Great vlog one again. Thanks x
You’re welcome 😊
Great to see you back cruising. The new boat looks lovely!
Thank you!
Thank you ! We have all been traveling through a very darkest tunnel ,& now the sun is showing !
indeed 👍👍
សប្បាយណាស់លេាកបា៉ខ្ញុំ
I would love to live in the UK. With all the canals and passenger trains, I would always be on the move. Thank you for revealing the boat life on the canals. I am retired from the U S Coast Guard and would love to be able to live on the water.
Wow, I'm sure you have plenty of tales to tell. The canal life would be a very different pace from coast guard.
Great music that fits right in with the visuals....................................Really fine stuff!!
What a great boat journey with great partners. Really wonderful, best to you both.
Thanks so much!
Lovely and peaceful video . Looking forward to the next one. It better be a good video as Well Deck Diaries one was superb 😆😆😉 so no pressure😆😆😉 haha. Only Joking. Stay safe x
We love a bit of pressure x
It is so nice to go canal cruising from my sofa thank you.
Our pleasure!
Hi Fran & Rich, so great to see you both! What a lovely peaceful cruise. Laura Maisie is beautiful. Hope the weather held for you at the Anderton Boat Lift. Have a wonderful visit with those other wonderful Narrowboat cruisers! Thank you for sharing, take really good care, stay safe! Much love Kathy x
Thank you so much!
Love the guitar music in the begining. Silver Fox just showed a video of the work going on on the hill slide.
I don't know anything of your past lives as a couple, just a couple of years before your new boat, Laura Maise. Brilliant !
So lovely to see you cruising again. Such a quiet narrowboat--can hardly hear the engine purr. Looks like the dogs are settled in now. You must be on the heels of the Foxes! Look forward to many more vlogs on the Laura Maisie. Greetings from British Columbia.
The dogs have finally settled in to a new routine. Thanks for watching.
That's a lovely boat, I bet you are chuffed
We are xx
It's good to see you out and about.
A week or so ago, Foxes Afloat posted a video which included details of the project to 'reconnect' the 'Runcorn arm' of the Bridgewater to the Ship Canal. Worth watching.
First off, beautiful music!! Great choices. But most of all the Laura Maisie is beautiful!! I’d guess she moves very well through the water. Keep safe and continue on..🤟😍
Also I really like the absence of cratch board or cover! Most beautiful to always see her lines.
Thanks Steve- she does move through the water well. We like the way she looks too, but we will probably be getting a rear cover due to practical reasons with the dogs..... we'll see, Thanks again for watching,
Congrats on your new boat…beautiful, from a Mini to a Rolls stunning.
It does feel a bit like that
Macie Państwo piękny , cudowny statek
Nice ride.....and good tunes. Thanks
I just found your channel, it popped up in my recommendations. So glad it did ! I'm hypnotized with fascination by what I'm seeing. How lovely to see the English country side from the water. New subscriber following you from landlocked Kansas USA
Thank you so much. It must all seem very strange to you. We do believe we see the best of the English countryside from the canal view. Thank you for subbing
I hope have nice Mother day. Just have a great time this week be safe 🙏 From Kitchener Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Lovely to see you fran and rich always great to see you both what a beauty laura maisie is big hugs for you both xxxx
Fab cruising on your wonderful new boat.
As always, a lovely, lovely ride. Best to you both, Jane, Philadelphia
Glad you enjoyed it
I have viewed others trips up and down the Canals and they didn't seem as picturesque as what yours are, being from the USA, I'm not familiar with the sites and the names of the rivers are unknown to me but, they are still wonderful to see. I thank you so much for sharing your tours with me, I'm sure I'm speaking for many others. I'm going to subscribe to your channel, leave a thumbs up, and a tap on the bell. I love your "Home away from Home" and I hope to see more of your travels, they are exciting. Cheers!
Hi Bobby, so glad you are enjoying the videos and thank you for subscribing x
Great to see you enjoying your new boat, it looks amazing. You have some lovely months of sun ahead .
Hope so!
You two have yourself a beautiful boat. Looking forward for the next vlog.
Thanks so much! 😊
Hi Guys, Glad to see you are both well and that you have finally aquired your new home. Did the walk through with you and it looks fabulous, well done. I have not commented for a while but had to say that Foxes Ep150 is a brilliant explanation of the plans intended over the next few years by The Runcorn Canal Society about the restoration of the Runcorn Arm. If you have not seen it by now you will be amazed. Ep151 is about the dry dock down there which is also an eye opener. Proper Job.
Yes! Thank you!
Bless, and joy on the flowing waters through our wonderful countryside. Guy
Thank you
Lovely as usual! Oh, no. More!
My Dad use to work at the ICI plant in Runcorn
Boat looks stunning, beautiful colours.
Great scenery, great music, keep cruising.
Hi Fran and Rich, thanks for the lovely cruise on your new boat.
Our pleasure!
Ahhh lovely days with a lovely couple! Have fun you two!
That peek around the corner and I see the Anderton Lift! I’m in Florida USA but I know that spot!
It is quite a famous sight. We will take a trip on the next video.
Yay, good to see you again
Thanks for sharing. Your boat is beautiful!
Oh that canal library looked interesting. So nice to see you moving again!
Lovely thanks,(still smiling).take care.
hi guys, nice to see you today sitting on the bench at dutton park. Had a nice chat and made us extremely jealous. The boat looks absolutely amazing. Hope you make it into Liverpool Albert Dock and enjoy the city. All the very best Ron and Barb (with the 2 Labradoodles).
Hi Ron and Barb - you found us then 👍😃. It was so nice to meet you both yesterday and wasn't until after we wished we'd invited you aboard for coffee - not used to relaxed rules, next time eh?
We're on Facebook and Instagram as Floating Our Boat so please keep in touch and maybe we could meet for drink/coffee soon.
All the best
Fran and Rich
That's a very shiny boat you have there!😇⚓️
That’s a beautiful boat! Love it!
What a fantastic looking boat 😃👌👍
Love the new boat, it is so shiny ✨
Awesome update my friends
Thanks 👍
LOVE that Boat and the name. Healthy travels friends.
Lovely vlog nice to see you enjoying Laura Maisie enjoyable watch another get away from it all catch up.
Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it
You two are an absolute delight, thank you.
Thank you too!
Very nice little trip. Thanks for sharing. That was quite a slide on the hillside...good that no one was living on the edge. It is hard to believe , with such massive trees nd roots, that the hill slipped at all. Nice lending library off to the side. Y'all have a Blessed day.
There is now a house left right on the edge at the top. Don't think we would like to live there
@@FloatingOurBoat Oh my that is too close for comfort.
Beautiful cruise. And beautiful new boat. Have fun
LM sure is a beautiful boat, and home. Happy floating.
Hi Fran and Richard 🤔 just us 2 Saying hi and thanks again 🤔👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🚌🚌🚌
Our pleasure!
Wonderful video! Cheers!
That is one very pretty boat!!! Note to self. Enter tunnel. Boat wash. Exit tunnel
Boat dryer. Lol!
🤣🤣
As an observation on safety. We had an Elton Moss boat and the same length tiller arm as you. Linda from Cheshire Cat pointed out to us that should we hit the rudder and be steering from outside on the back it was possible we would get knocked in. So on her advice we bought a longer arm and thus were able to steer from inside the back doors.
Never occurred to us but we can steer from inside the back doors nontheless 👍
Laura and Maisie sounds sweet 😀 Bet your so pleased with her 🤔 Fran looks so happy at the helm 🤣🤣 Since they build the new bridge Mersey gateway Runcorn is a ghost town 😩
It does seem like the town has been a little abandoned. Such a shame
Hi rich/Fran
Enjoyed the video nice cruise and boat looking great in the sunshine
Enjoy the Anderson boat lift
You stay safe and well
Thanks, will do!
Good to see you on the move again, the new boat is looking good.
I love the peacefulness of your adventures. Looks like things are working out well on the shiny new boat.
They are!
beautiful
Laura Maisie purrs like a kitten....lovely xxx
Laura Maisie looks so sleek and elegant! The colors you guys chose are perfect.
Thank you xx
Congratulations on your first cruise !
I love your new boat. 🤗💝
There is somethng so restful, so English about the whole channel. You are a real tonic in a very hectic, divided world! My mum, God bless her, was English, and although she never got home again after the war, her affection and respect for her country took root in an Irish son. I've never lived in England, but it feels like home in a funny schizophrenic way!
Thank you so much Nick, we couldn't ask for a nicer comment
Always good to see you guys 🇬🇧🇵🇦👍
Nice to see the two of you cruising again. I can’t wait to visit the Liverpool area when I get on the water. If the Bridgewater is so clean and owned by the Manchester company, it must be all that rain! 😉
It’s mind-blowing when you get up close the structures such as the green bridge on your Runcorn trip. No doubt the Alderton lift will be even more so from a boaters-eye view. Take care the both of you.
We are also looking forward to going to Liverpool. The Anderton boat lift did look amazing from the boaters view, as you will see in the next video
Beautiful filming, especially of Laura Maisie, she looks very elegant.
Happy Days indeed!
Glad you enjoyed it
She’s a lovely shining beautiful boat,lookin good,,,I’m really looking forward to yr next episode...have a great week..thanks always ..🌸🙏💚🌷
Thank you! You too!
zddfd
How sweet it is....
Hi to all the crew on lovely Laura Maisie..2 legged and 4 legged....enjoy your new cruising adventures....are you chasing Colin, Shaun & Otis on Foxes Afloat...!!!!
Yes we are ha ha
Laura Maisie is looking just wonderful. When I feel a bit pissed off with life in grey old London I think of all you narrowboaters, the Foxes, Well Deck Diaries and many more. I've told others about this but you all have all made things so easier for us to get through these gawd awful times during the lockdown. Thanks. Stephen.
Thanks Stephen that means so much. It's viewers like you that keep us going too.
Love your new boat! Missed you guys,,,your sweet smiles and fantastic music as usual.
Thanks so much!
Hey that was a lovely ride, thank you both, hope you are feeling more settled on Laura Maisie and the dogs have adjusted to the change. Take care. xx
We are all settling in really well x
Might be a couple of silver foxes in that area. 👍
Possibly
Stay safe and be lucky, guys.
Wonderful. So glad to see you back out on the canals, cruising through the villages, cities and lovely English countryside. I've missed it a lot, though, I suspect, not nearly as much as you. Thankful for the privilege of tagging along. Keep having fun!
Glad you're coming along with us Douglas.
Thx for the lovely vlog... looking forward to your trip on the Anderton
Glad you enjoyed it
Just brilliant, thank you very much off to dream land, cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it Derrick - thanks again 🙂
Gorgeous as always 😍
Thank you!! 😊
Laura Maisie is a gem, and seems quieter... What a clever timing system on the Saltersford Tunnel! Was wondering how that might work.
Your boat looks amazing I love the colours .💓👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Oh that boat just looks so elegant, beautifully designed and clearly finished to a very high standard, especially the paint. Still looking forward to the interior tour.
Boat tour was last episode ruclips.net/video/PLKr0Ha2WoE/видео.html 👍 Thanks for watching
love the wild garlic
The remark Fran made coming through Preston Brook tunnel about Alice in Wonderland is a bit of a coincidence.Lewis Carroll ( Charles Dodgson) who wrote it was born in Daresbury only about a mile or so from Preston brook.
Excellent video some cracking views and your boat looks fantastic ☺👍
Many thanks!
Lovely couple 💕💕💕💕
Thank you 😊
I just found you! What great adventure. I think we forget that England has some beautiful places. Even though I'm in Tennessee now, you mentioned a cup of tea and biscuit so I'm off to make a brew! Old habits die hard 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Aah, sometimes you can't beat a cuppa and a biccie
