Thanks for being there, all about timing and capability! That boarder was so fortunate you chose that line, I've been in a well (luckily head up) and was able to struggle myself free. I was worried for you while watching that video, slicing trees like that, in deep pow is how I ended up neck deep. Keeping calm and jumping into action was great to see, stellar response! Love your line in this video, I've only been up there with conditions good enough to do it once. Need to make it back up to Baker, it's been in years now. Excellent skiing, keep the good vids coming.
I spent a few weeks camping in the parking lot of Mt Baker back in the mid 90's. We spent the days riding chair 8 and hiking the back country with a couple local riders. Amazing place, even if the snow is a bit.....heavy? LOL. Finding the guy buried in the well was amazing. So much 'luck' went into that guy's life being saved, not to mention the amazing and calculated effort you put in to getting him free and back on his way! Cheers man, you are a fkn legend.
