We can believe Mark's writings also because of 2 Timothy 3:16 states, "All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching". The Greek word translated as "inspired" in this verse literally means "God-breathed". This implies that God is the source of what is recorded in Scripture, and that God used human authors to write what He revealed through the Holy Spirit. We cannot pluck out the book of Mark, as Mark is known as Peter's interpreter, both in speech and in writing. As a fisherman from Galilee, Peter may not have spoken Greek fluently, so Mark interpreted for him. In his book, Mark wrote down the observations and memories of Peter, one of the original Apostles.

My comment is on Mondays lesson, It is very easy to advocate for second chances especially were the wrong dower seems to have a change of heart as was the case with John Mark and eventually we see Paul working with him again which was a good thing.
however, i think we really need to be mindful of our actions or omission, because if we do not introspect our self's carefully, we may end up discouraging others.
i am reminded of Jesus in Gethsemane. He takes three of his disciples and he tells them to watch and pray, but alas, the disciples fall asleep at the time that Jesus needed them the most. And so we need to be very careful of what we omit to do or decide to do. Our actions or inaction may be very detrimental to ones christian life as well as life in general
