Forget the cardfight, I honestly think the verbal fight between Chrono and Ibuki was the highlight of this episode. That was priceless "You lousy stalker!" lol
yea he got called out on that. he is lacking horribly. lousy stalker who got called out on it. like the last episode of s5 where he got busted putting cards in the locker

On the wiki, Chrono's trigger luck is explained as follows.
"Chrono possesses above average luck, able to pull off feats such as successfully activate Mystery Flare Dragon's skill on the first try. It's suggested that it is in fact so powerful that it's not actually luck at all, rather Chrono's will changing fate to his favour."
This is the most blatant form of plot armor I have ever seen.

I may be wrong but for comparison isn't Chrono basically like Yusei or Shay Kurosaki in Yugioh? Those guys hardly ever lost or lose their games and everyone loves those characters and they have disgustingly thick plot armor but Vanguard makes their own with Chrono and everyone has a problem?

I've watched this episode 3 times now and I love the part where Chrono talks about Ibuki having no friends then Ibuki starts to rage because of his crap childhood he had which was shown in the film. I was like "well...now he's done it.." So awesome 😁👍🏼
Ibuki's reactions made this episode worth waiting an extra week for. Especially his reaction to Chrono's calling him an old man
There's a lot of people saying that Chrono is having Plot armor nowadays.... I don't mind that.
I just watched a 20 year old man get called a stalker and old man in the same episode by a middle schooler of all things. this is too amusing for me

I knew Ace is the big boss' assistant (lackey). The envelope he had in episode 4 this season had a symbol hinting that he has a connection with the boss.

Holy shit! Did Chrono just break the 4th wall? He completely describe what's wrong with the whole mysterious anti-hero stereotype even calling Ibuki a stalker. I completely laugh myself to a muscle strain after seeing that scene.

I think he did. He also stated how it's stupid that, although he's been tasked, no one tells him anything. I loved it. Also, he got a Nyaromon.
i'll have to admit it that was hilarious. he pretty much called him out on that. putting cards in his locker etc.

Yeah, but you don't have to pay the cost even if it does hit. It's just a really bad habit to waste resources for skills that meet their requirements which can ultimately cost you the game. Then again, now we have Chronoscommand Revolution so regardless of the hit or not, it's a decent 1-of stride for the first stride along with Faterider and Epoch Maker.

That verbal fight was the best. I rewatched this episode a few times just for that.
I was laughing at their verbal fight and then they showed Miwa and I realized that I was actually laughing the same way as him with a hand on my mouth.
i do like that they showed the perfect guard still struggling even after nullifying it adds power to it, i also liked that they showed every step of this fight. and lastly i love how ibuki after being told out starts to get pretty reasonably ticked off,
also i don,t mind the heal trigger they were pretty spaced out so its not like he got miracle triggers, i think Chrono won this fairly,...but i do think he needs to lose sometimes but i'll give this to him, (becides buddyfights plot armor is much thicker, at least chrono loses sometimes)because he did lose during training with kamui, and got a depend card out of it.
also kai dosent like being called old at 20, i laghed
this fight was amusing, i mean chrono calling ibuki old and stalker was hilarious. and ibuki getting angry claiming he is only 20 years old.

Hahahah I don't no what was more funnier the stalker crack, the bit about the old man ("I'm only 20" I totally spilt a gut that's why this show is above Yu-Gi-Oh to me) are just his face when he lost. So funny. his is getting better & better &it was already good. Oh & I wonder about those gears units there's 12 of them & ones a dragon, ones a tiger, & a snake & I think I've already seen a bunny & unicorn (which could've been a horse) sounds like the Chinese's Zodiac to me. Well is left is the rooster, ram ox, boar, dog rat & cat & then we'll no for sure. Anyway I'm definitely gotta find out what will happen next. I CAN'T WAIT Keep of the show

I like how after all that hard work, Chrono got a fliying toy lion as one of the Depend Cards in return. I'll be very suprise if it's a grade 2 or 3
It's actually a rat. If you notice all the gear units shown are animals from the Chinese zodiac. That's why chronojet dran says zodiac time beast on the type of card.
Is it so first grade 0, then grade 1, then 2, then 3, then G unit, I think that's it

I am actually hoping that Morikawa wins this one, Chrono's consecutive wins are starting to irritate me a bit.
+Jun Taiohara Yes, his 1 consecutive win has been really impressive so far. And his 6 consecutive wins before that are really something compared to Kai's 8 last on-screen battles which were victories. Oh and remember how Kai had that 17 battle win-streak back in season 1? Or when Aichi had that 11 battle win-streak during seasons 2-3? Great times, great times.

Jun Taiohara Yeah, the fight was terrible everything considered. They really didn't do Chrono justice, and I also felt Ibuki was out of character when he fell to Chrono's provocations.
But given everything, Chrono still loses more often than Aichi and Kai. Despite so many thinking the contrary.
+Tartar I can count Chrono's loses on one hand: Ibuki, Shion, Kanzaki, and Kamui. Aichi through seasons 1 & 2 has lost more than that.
Evan Banks Chrono has lost 9 matches so far. Ibuki episode 4, Kamui in episode 13, Mamoru episode 16, Trinity Dragon ep 20, Ibuki again in ep 22, Shion in ep 33, Kanzaki episode 38, Kumi in episode 47 and Kamui in episode 11 of G2. Meanwhile he's won 26 battles. That's a winrate of 74%.
Kai on the other hand has a win-loss ratio of 46-9. that's a winrate of 84%. And Aichi has a win-loss raito of 49-18 which is a a 73% winrate.
Chrono even had that 11 game win-streak over season 2-3, while Chrono's longest win-streak was 6 wins.
Chrono and Aichi are the same win-rate wise.

But Makemi is Makemi, he wouldn't fight with a balanced deck unless he was tricked into it... Surely Morikawa hasn't changed that much.

Also getting three heals is similar to what Ren did way back in Season 3... then Kai's 4 Criticals. Chrono is the equality of a Yu-Gi-Oh duelist. His swirl hair gives him strength!

Does Ren EVER stop wearing the half skirt thing?! In season 1 you could barely see it under his trench coat but it was there, it was plain obvious in the second season, the only reason you didn't see it in the third and fourth was because he was wearing the Fukuhara school uniform the whole time and now according to the openings he's still wearing it! Why?!

Morikawa strode in the spoiler, which means he either A: realized that Grade 3s aren't everything (which is the most probable considering his connection to Juggernaut throughout the series) or B: someone just handed him another deck. (again not very likely considering the Juggernaut connection) Either way MORIKAWA IS COMING BACK AND HES USING SPIKE BROTHERS!!

+goldenlink40 When I play LJ, I always make people lock their shit vertically, because it makes it easier to remember that things come out standing. Also, if I omega lock something (thanks osmium!) I have them turn it sideways. That way, instead of unlocking in end phase, it goes vertical instead. No one argues over whether it's been 2 turns or not, and the game runs smoother.
