@@preciseaudioblog yes bro...even me, the sweep echo was my fave and its available only in the new DL 4. But whatever, cheers to the Pod x3 live. I shall always cherish it.
I have a pedal board that I would like to use with the X3 Live at the same time. Do you know how I would hook that up? In the Fx send and return on the X3 live? Or just like an amp? guitar into pedal board, pedal board into guitar input of X3 Live?
Currently choosing to buy a Zoom G3xn or Pod X3 live from second-hand deal, which one would you recommend ? The X3 is way older 😂😂😂 does it still stand for the value ?
I just checked the Zoom and seems to have better sound. Although, it’s all about personal test. I just got the pod go and discovered that these digital amp modelers and fx units take out a bit of attack from the guitar (sounds weird, I know). I bought the POD Go cause at the moment I don’t have 2.5k to buy a top amp (That’s the way to go!). Analog stomp-boxes like Boss, don’t off that sensitiveness from the touch on the guitar. The Pod Go takes way less of that from the guitar than the X3, but still. Hope this helps. Cheers!
Hi Edgar, I realized that the most important thing for me from the Pod is the distortion simulation of the amps that it has. If I would have a Mesa Boogie amp or similar ($1.5K plus), I would recommend you to buy analog stomp boxes. In the end I bought a Pod Go (very good unit) and a DL4 from Line 6, since the distortion of my amp is not good. Hope this helps. Cheers!
Hi, I connect the Pod into the Fx Send/Return of the amp. Your guitar into the real amp input. Of course, the Amp-Cab in the pod should be off. The other way would be to plug your guitar into the the Pod input, take the out of the Pod to amp’s input, with the Amp-Cab off as well. Check what sounds better. Cheers!
@@eeveeaitch4735 you plugged it in the return? . Other option: connect it in the front, and turn of the amp/cabinet in the Pod. Hope this helps. Cheers!
The gain/dis in there boards are a awfull i have multiple types but i always run two or more gain pedals into them and use the other effects like reverb and delay and mod. The gain just sounds hollow. Also i think they have some pretty weird standard settings that can be tweaked
Bro this video was the last straw that made me leave my pod x3 live for an analog set up. Thank you
Hi there. There is only one thing I miss from it and it’s a mod delay (I can’t find it anywhere). Cheers!

@@babyblue4824 I really doubt it sounds the same. I have the Pod Go and old DL4... I thought they had it, but sounds different. Cheers!
@@preciseaudioblog oh really? I didn't know that.... Hope someday you'll gey your hands on that mod delay
@@babyblue4824 I might buy Pod X3 Live in the future lol. Cheers!

Hi, if it’s an overdrive/distortion, I’d go guitar -> pedal -> Pod... if it’s modulation or rever/delay, I’d put it in the FX loop. Cheers!

In the end, what upgrade did you do? What would you recommend to someone with a 500-600 budget wanted to upgrade from X3 live?

hey. if is possible, can you help to use loop for this POD X3
Hi, you mean the 4 cable method?
Hi do you know how to run the x3 live so i have the sound of my real amp but the fx from the x3 live.

I have the same x3
