Here's a little less known secret: Lesser heal is more like true hitscan. Holy light on the other hand definitely benefits from being slightly led on and/or is more susceptible to desync similar to curse of pain. As a cleric main with thousands of hours in duos and trios I can tell you with confidence SOMETHING is and has always been slightly off with Holy Light in particular. It's weird. Maybe coders/dataminers would know more. I have a strong feeling that this is one of the things that puts players off from ever trying to get good at Cleric aside from having it be their Timmy class, which is PART of why there are so few good ones out there in a supportive role (in addition to people usually naturally preferring an ADC-type role).
@@Brotection_ What you're describing is the action speed implementation in the game. Casting time is affected by knowledge, which is the charging of the spell bar. Action speed(Dex/Agi) is the delay after you release the charged spell. There's a slight delay where your character pushes forward, and it offsets the Holy Light cast slightly, making it feel janky.
@@Brotection_ I dunno, I never really go out of my way to do it. There's too many other stats Cleric wants to, and Dex is probably at the bottom of the stack. If might even throw off your t leading/timing on some casts.
