IM THE REAR MOUNT 350Z GUY! haha Derek is honestly such a good guy and pours his heart into his projects. I want to buy ANOTHER miata just so I can run his kit. Highly HIGHLY recommend 👌. Thanks Slip angle for featuring the little guy!
You should add some way to brace the turbo. Top-mount turbos are a lot of weight wiggling on the end of long pipes usually results in cracked welds down the line.
Looks like a nice kit, I went with fm at the time just because they had the best record at the time in terms of reliability. Nice to see other kits coming out though since fm kind of monopolized the market for a while lol.
1500 usd for the manifold and downpipe? Good quality looking parts but def a bit to steep on price to be competitive imo, the kraken kit is cast and likely more durable for cheaper!
Solid upgrade. That turbo mani wants the sauce. Any plans on building the engine? I built mine last winter, did the Kraken low mount mani and DP kit with the efr6258. Rocketship!
Is the LSD going out in the car? I ask because that thing was doing a serious one wheel peel at 1:00. Took a while before the right rear started spinning.
I think this is a nice kit but throughly overkill on a GT2560R. Even a GT28RS is likely overkill. I think a T3 manifold for GT30 and larger turbos would benefit. I have a GT3076R on a FM manifold and O2 housing with an ATP turbine housing that is external Wastegated and it makes 346whp at about 21psi. The only reason I changed to external WG is because the GT2560R was a boost creep nightmare because there wasn't enough back pressure using the FM O2 and full exhaust.
I also, saw the dyno sheet differences and the spool was terrible compared to my 94 with the GT2560R. My car made 200tq at 2300 and 300tq at 2700 and 358tq peak at 3600 rpm.
Yup. i ran 400 HP on my old EFR 6758 and i still had some left in it. Running T3 on my EFR 8374 now. Pretty sure T3 on so small turbos are simply overkill...
@@TheSlipAngle that is true. But a good NA and NB are becoming harder to find and they are older and need more just to get back on the road. But ok I hear where your coming from.
Fm turbo kits are great and proven but man they have dinosaur specs. This kit looks amazing!
good for 190 WHP LOL.

The more manifold and downpipe options for the Miata, the better. Looks like a great piece of kit!
Yoooo love that you guys brought the little guy in to shed some light on a great product he’s producing on his own! 🤘🏾

He made my k24a2 kmiata turbo manifold and downpipe. Great guy! He will be doing the intercooler piping soon too.

I just saw this opening intro on Instagram! 😁 I had no idea it was going to be the slip angle videos!
I mean, if it’s not a compound setup... is it really an upgrade? 😂
that "ear" from the gearbox bellhousing i had to cut off on my miata for my 3" kraken downpipe aswell..
Ver nice. Looks like a significant upgrade. Always good to see Miata content!
Very interesting. Doing research on a turbo install on my NA8.
really nice parts, better response and less weight!

Yup, my $100 ebay log manifold seems to be working juuuust fine for me and my compound turbos.
trackspeed engineering makes the best miata turbo manifold imo. this one looks cool but it looks to have a very large volume.

Its not really closer if you use those long ass pipes...bending it doesn't make the trip shorter
Derek, rear mount turbo my Viper already! 🤣🤣🤣
Hey was this car at canaan ccw with masstuning about 2 weeks ago
Yes it was!!

I sure hope this is the single most bestest
top guy...excellent stuff...

Why not post before and after dynos? First with full flying miata kit then other with the new setup?
Click his website and check out the kits as it shows the comparison between this kit and the FM kit.
Great product!
Sooooo FM manifold/dp going into Ryan's miata??? :)
K24 going into Ryan’s Miata 😉
Wait what? Engine rebuild and tjen swapping it out? lol
@@shidous lol I’ll explain in the next video. In the meantime, I did kind of explain my reasoning on my personal channel. Check it out!
May I ask why you didn’t make a turbo manifold for the NC MX-5. You do realize that the NC has a more popular engine then the NA and NB??
There are definitely more turbo NA/NBs out there than there are NCs.
Nobody likes NC's

@@1991CALYPSO I like the NC better. I think the shape is better and I fit better as a bigger guy. But they are all good to me.
@@sedhendo4177 just because you like the NC, doesn’t mean many others do.
look also kraken manifolds
I'm just waiting for someone to finally make an ABS delete for the NA..
Honed developments makes the booster delete I use, full manual brakes are awesome
can anyone sell me one of these manifolds ?
