Just an FYI... I placed an order for the Aspen Ballhead many, many months ago. I received the bullhead two months ago. Like it a lot. Working with Breakthrough (filters) and CTC (Aspen) has been a bit disappointing. Breakthrough filters are amazing. But their product availability (Magnetic) is problematic.
Glad to hear you received your Aspen. Oh and I'm not sure if you got to this part in the episode, but Breakthrough has stated they are working on the Mark II magnetic filters. There's an "update" signup form for the project on their website.
I was unaware of all of this until after I ordered an Aspen ball head about 2 weeks ago. My CC was charged but I have yet to receive it. I emailed them for information without a response…

I have a wide variety of strange email interactions with them. Including some ones where they are clearly blowing me off
