Love this home! Such as BEAUTIFUL HOME & LOT!!! Just seems like a lot of wasted space upstairs. At least have steps going upstairs for the way you build for additional room and/or storage. My personal tastes. lol.

Very very nice. Only thing I’d change is the flooring. Larger boards on the wood floor. Older more distressed look would go far.

I’m surprised with a house that big there is no powder room. I do like the house though. I love all the extra storage. 2 garages are awesome. I’d put a wall in one and use it as a workshop. I love the 4 season porch. Master was fabulous. I like a sitting area. Kitchen was great. Didn’t see a microwave though. Guess the owner doesn’t use one or they have a countertop model. Attic steps in the garage .... they must be some loooooong steps. I don’t know that I’d want to be taking boxes up and down those things. Lol I’d prefer the steps in a hallway somewhere. They must not have kids because there is no tub in the main bath. I always think of resale so I would have a tub.

Well I guess I’m going to have to stop being so critical with my distaste of open floor plans. This house seems to have a nice feeling with the kitchen not overwhelming the space. Overall I really like this design over the other one that you showed in this style. I would have gone ahead and put wooden shelves in the closet and not those wire racks. The screen porch is perfect and I’d use the office as an office a little overkill on garage space if I had this house I would have had a workshop built in instead. Any reason why you couldn’t build the pantry or master bedroom closets? I’m sure you could have done a great job with that. The black granite is very nice and I like it better than the white marble. It would be so nice to have my house built for me to my specifications, you would be doing a lot more custom tile work though I like tile baseboards and pencil trim and I would certainly have all the craftsman details I could get. I’d like to see someone put in some stained glass for a change of pace my home would have a lot of leaded windows but I would not think twice about the price because it’s just a dream and I don’t fantasize on a budget.
Love the house, but I think I would prefer another bathroom, and possibly another bedroom

What is the total living space and square footage?Average cost of this home? And cost to add full basement.
I'm a GC in CA and I don't know what the Code if for the bottom height is for the fp mantel is in NC,
They always look a little high
And it would be nice to have a flat spot to mount the flat screen TV to , hey Mike have you ever tried to mount to stone your self
I think not, get the check and run haha. Might have to look you up one day, my son lives in Huntsville and my sister lives in Cornelius.

Am I the only builder that puts the shower knob/faucet on the opposite side of the head? I prefer not to have to get wet immediately when I reach in to turn the water on. I really like this house plan though Mike. Do you sell these plans?
I've seen some of Mike's homes that do have the shower knob at the opposite end of the shower near the door opening to avoid getting wet with ice cold water.
Do you build outside NC?
I love this house. The only thing I don’t get is that most people who build an awesome one level house like this are usually getting older an do it so they don’t have to potentially have to worry about going up steps as they get older. Why have them designed in on a flat lot when unnecessary?

The garages are too short. Wouldn't fit my truck. Builders need to make garages deeper....23 feet or more deep.
nice but that is an awful lot of roof for standard gutter and down spouts , and what is with the 3$ dryer outlet white there 0 white on the exterior of that home

@@lynnharrell9598 Mainly in the hall bath. Check it out at starting around 14:56 mark. Looks to me like the depth is not even and the texture varies.

Hopefully they get that driveway extended put or that is just going to be a nasty mess after big rains...at least gravel the rest of it
I think that not finishing that driveway is going to be a problem in the future.
You build beautiful homes! You should have somebody else made the camera! This house has a big master bedroom, but you don’t seem to show that off very well, actually you don’t show the size of the any room very well you’re too close to the corners windows.
They will regret not saving money in home itself and not finishing driveway.
