- With the recent rise of Anti - Semitism due to the hate speech from Kanye West and others I felt a need to go out and battle the darkness by spreading light.
This is not political. It's personal. I am Jewish and proud and history has shown time and time again what words alone can do to bring so much harm onto innocent people.
Fighting hate with hate will never work, rather through dialogue, curiosity, and respect we all can live in peace. It's really not that complicated and after going out and experiencing so much love and support I am reminded that the majority of humans are kind and loving and those who aren't need extra love for they must be in deep, dark pain and unawareness.
Please use your voice and gifts to make this world a more brighter, respectable and kinder place.

I think what a lot of folks don't realize is how alone and insecure Jewish people feel when anti-semitism rears it's ugly head even in a place like New York where there is a large and vibrant Jewish community. I'm sure its the same for other groups as well. What this video shows is that the simple act of acknowledging the pain, fear and isolation of a group targeted by irrational hate either through a hug, fist bump or simple nod of the head goes a very long way.
BEST MOMENT at 1:18 !! Many in the Muslim community may have political differences with us, but also are friends and wonderful human beings. Let's never forget that.
