Lovely bit of history there. I love the Gothic Florin design & it's one of my favourite portraits of Victoria. I actually own a 1932 Florin. Found in change some 40 years ago
I have a few older metal detected florins but I don't count them as being in my collection and are instead in the dug coin box. I'm still in my early stages of a coin collection and so my 'rarest' Florin is an Elizabeth II 1965 in BU condition. Over 48million minted. 😂 Cost me £4 but in slab-able condition, not that I want to slab my coins.
My collection is really lacking with the Gothics, I don't have any 1860s dates at all. I do have a Fine 1892, that I only paid £60 for off an Englishman last year. I have a very worn 1886 and a pretty nice (VF) 1932. I have a lot of semi rare ones like 1891, 1905, 1870 and 1887 gothic (Likely under 1 million as figure includes the Jubilees). Also the 1849 Godless would come 2nd with 413k minted and the 10 proof coins of 1851. 1853 Proofs would be rare too!

Sounds like a great Coin such good condition coins always stand out as most are usually scratched and circulated
@@BitsAndBobsCoins I certainly prefer uncirculated. Looking forward to getting more every month.
