Also I think you missed a step in transcribing his directions/ after adding the quart of yeast water to the 5quarts of water you then also take one quart of that and add to 10quarts or water to further dilute before watering plants- this is not the step referring to the live yeast. Just want to make sure people have it right.
The problem is that in America we use an actual tablespoon measuring spoon. He is using a kitchen spoon to measure. It is not a correct measurement. Also Our packets of yeast are 2 and one fourth teaspoons
I believe you said and used a pint jar, but than kept referring to qts. Having said all this, people I don’t think it matters all that much. The viability of your yeast, time and temp will also be major variables. Point being, mix up a concentrate. Dilute it with warm water and use it on previously watered plants. Experience will reward you best.
I used this method last year and I handed out pickles until people said uncle. Then I had to start canning I passed out 48 pints of bread and butter pickles . Lol man that was a lot of pickles. I guess I'll have to plant more this year. Thank you for the info
4:14 Well you said it but not clearly enough for all to understand. The yellow color of additional water indicates it is coming from a rusted container. In other words, it has "Iron, " which is another important ingredient for green leafy vegetation (One of the essential ingredients in microquantity, in addition to the three main ingredients in any artificial fertilizer, namely: ammonium nitrate, ammonium phosphate, and potassium sulfate). So please do mention that you have added iron to the mix, or the result may not be as good.

What veg can you not use this on or if it's easier to list the ones you can. Also, I have active & rapid yeast. Are either ok to use. I have my plants in a greenhouse in buckets & bags.

You understood everything correctly, this is a growth stimulator in order for the plants to start quickly, then you do not need to use it.

this fertilizer does not work when it is cold, the viability of the yeast drops at lower temperatures.
Cut the bottom of a gallon jug and place over your plant . It makes a mini hot house . If real hot during the day remove it until cool again .

Never use salty tasting or really soft water kills plants dead after a few days no way to resuscitate them as salt is in the soil.

yeast will not leave a trace of sugar, so there will be no ants
