The issue is more deep then people realise - Arteta is too stubborn to change his system. It was always going to be hard to break down the Inter defence and Arteta knew that yet still played his system that essentially put them in a corner. When you are at this level, you just need to win. I can understand if Arteta didn’t want to change because the system works usually but it works against high-lines, not deep blocks. They have struggled against them in the Prem over the last 2 years, he can’t expect it to work against one of the best defensively disciplined teams in Europe. Nwaneri should’ve come on earlier and been urged to drive into the Inter defence to make them do something, Saka and Martinelli should’ve looked to shoot more. Even if they didn’t believe they’d go in, it would’ve pulled Inter out and then they could’ve looked to cross but they just kept crossing without creating any space or chances for it. Arteta’s stubbornness is the reason and every issue that has been blamed for these losses all have been impacted by it.

All those yapping Arsenal were better absolutely have no ball knowledge..Inter was showcasing Classic Italian Catenacio..Anyone who watched the game knows Arsenal were just playing into Inter's hands..Arsenal had use less possession..Inter was manipulating them
Inzaghi was playing for the tie. Even if Inter lose, he would not of cared because they were still in a good position in Champions. Even if Arsenel were awarded the penalty, the fact remains it would have ended in a tie. Inter would still be ahead and then Arsenal fans would be complaining about not winning against Inter. Fifa should just give the penalty to both teams in such a contentious situation thats the way around handling offences in the box and no team will ever feel robbed😅
In the FA cup City vs Chelsea game this same reasoning was given for not giving the penalty for Grealish handball. But imo that was a much slower ball than today's and should have been given

Yeah arsenal didn't score and yes Italian are good at defending but this inter defending is not a showcase of defend,we only didn't score because we didn't have creativity that's the only reason, same happened last week for us, actually Newcastle did well than inter
Firstly, the game ended 1 - 0 from a penalty that nowadays is strange. I can see that Arsenal is struggling with creativity, but that happens to every team. I worry about the strange way the narrative is formed. Didn't Manchester City get decimated on Tuesday? Stay calm and let the boys work it out.
Goals were not coming from everywhere all over the pitch Peter. Arsenal bagged a lot of goals after January when certain mid and lower table teams were collapsing. Arsenal have struggled for goals more often than not these past few years
Two chances to win the league is A LOT, especially whilst Klopp was still there. Chelsea Are on the up and Liverpool are 100% challenging. Looks like Arteta knows he fkd up
As a Liverpool fan, i strongly believe Arsenal can rebound quickly Ps nowadays, rule abt handball change from time 2 time, no One can confirm exactly its a penalty

Forza INTER we won we don’t care who was better 😂 this is Italian calcio the real football 💙🖤
But Inter style has been very beautiful now. We have been creating a lot recently
henry is right ✅️
How can a keeper dragon punch someone and it not be a penalty? 😂
Better not see any Arsenal fans complaining about dark arts or defending a one goal lead
But wait a minute do you guys what to tell me that we were not robbed? We were supposed to be given a penalty against international but officials were blind about.
I agree with Henry. I don't see both City and Liverpool both slipping up. They will drop points but it we don't beat Chelsea it's 100% over.
Henry 💯 about arsenal
All those yapping Arsenal were better absolutely have no ball knowledge..Inter was showcasing Classic Italian Catenacio..Anyone who watched the game knows Arsenal were just playing into Inter's hands..Arsenal had use less possession..Inter was manipulating them
Nonsense we had control of the game from halfway through the second half right until the end.
Imagine getting this much happiness seeing your team parking the bus the whole second half and scoring from a penalty kick at your own ground? 😂
@@filmonberhane4255with their B team? 😂
You do realize that was inter b team right? How embarrasing 😂😂@@filmonberhane4255
@@filmonberhane4255 y didn't u win man
Inzaghi was playing for the tie. Even if Inter lose, he would not of cared because they were still in a good position in Champions. Even if Arsenel were awarded the penalty, the fact remains it would have ended in a tie. Inter would still be ahead and then Arsenal fans would be complaining about not winning against Inter. The game is done. Move on.
Fifa should just give the penalty to both teams in such a contentious situation thats the way around handling offences in the box and no team will ever feel robbed😅
This law is garbage. Nothing like offside. This was unavoidable. Distance and speed of the ball matters a ton.
It's harsh I agree but it's consistent, unlike in the premier league
In the FA cup City vs Chelsea game this same reasoning was given for not giving the penalty for Grealish handball. But imo that was a much slower ball than today's and should have been given
Did you even listen the referee from this video? Arsenal player stopped shot on goal with risen hand. The penalty is clear as Inter’s net.
Merinho is slow not aggressive, no vision and has no close ball skills.
Where is our no. 9?😮😮😮😮😮
The question is not is the handball harsh, but why does the player have his arms out like that in the box to begin with? This isn't houseleague, these players know better and yet they get caught out everytime.
If you aren't smart enough to figure that out you have never played.football.
@@POPLee14 I am smart enough to figure it out but when your goal area is packed and you stick your arm out that's just poor game sense and knowledge of what's going on around you
@lorenzoFCIM1908 He didn't stick his arm out.....
@@POPLee14yea he did, do you want 2 gk? he stopped the ball with his hand, thats it, it's simple, even the analyst said it's penalty all day every day, get over it
@@POPLee14no need to insult other because of your loss, 😂 you can cope without insults. Guy stuck his hands out and caused a penalty that's it 😢 next season fc
They wouldn't consider that penalty "harsh" if it was the other way around.
I'm so sick of them always defending English teams and never giving enough respect to the others, specially italian teams.
You can tell Titi butt's still burning from when he wasn't enough for the early 2000 Serie A and they use to spank him at every occasion when he left.
Poor, poor, journalism.
As Cristina said, that as being a penalty 10/10 for the past 5/6 years
And I'm a Juventus fan. If someone "hates" Inter, that's me. But this all discussions is awful...
We need Odegaard to come back, desperately
All this money in the Prem and you can't buy proper reserve players for some reason....
@@michelangelobuonarroti4958 say that again mate
@@rocksonjalloo4358 all this money in the prem and you can't buy proper reserve players for some reason....
@ Arsenal for you mate 😂😂😂😂😂Arteta will follow Edu next
This odegaard stuff is cope. We looked bad before he got injured
Yeah arsenal didn't score and yes Italian are good at defending but this inter defending is not a showcase of defend,we only didn't score because we didn't have creativity that's the only reason, same happened last week for us, actually Newcastle did well than inter
Because Arsenal is physically a better side than it technically is. Arsenal is not a team with an elite technical skill level.
Looks like Arteta knows he fkd up
As a Liverpool fan, i strongly believe Arsenal can rebound quickly
Ps nowadays, rule abt handball change from time 2 time, no One can confirm exactly its a penalty
Ita clear that Arteta is a check book manager
Why are we playing the same way every game, it's too predictable teams don't fear us anymore they know exactly how we gonna play, we allow teams to come back and reorganize, our attack is to slow, no play through the middle ,it's frustrating ,
I agree we lack creativity but we all know Henry has always been saltly about Mikel
No corner goals no Party for Arsenal 😂
No discussion on the foul on Mikel Merino ?? You have an expert but don’t ask the tough questions? SMH
Were u at the game?
The banter era is on the horizon.
We talk about PL refs but the one good thing is that handball would never be given
Annoyed Jamie didn’t say “internazianalle” 😔
They talk about Chelsea vs Arsenal. Arsenal must win this game. A draw wouldn’t be good if LFC and City both win their game.
Arteta has spent 800 million for this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Arteta has bought all running wingers sterling martinelli jesus haverts all good at passing making chances none can score goals.
Now he wants to get Leroy sane another running man who can't score who is next mbappe.
14 corners against Inter. Zero chances of any Arsenal player getting to one. I believe Saliba had a clear header. Havertz should have scored from his 2 chances. Those are the chances you get against a CL side! Arteta is a shi t tactician!
Whether for better or worse, Milan excites and entertains, unlike Inter, which is a company of bus parkers in front of the goal
golazo should go international. I watch it illegally cause im not from the us and can't get cbs but i love the banter and the way they analyse the game. Also love the tension when one of the guys are sexist and get the cold shoulder
I hope January we sign a Striker
Watching Arsenal is like watching Netflix. We always wait for a new season🤣
No bastoni, dimarco, barella, mikhytarian, thuram and acerbi....still won against arsenal.
Where is the reaction to City's loss vs Sporting? I don't get it
I prefer to hear an ex UEFA referees on this matter. Now it’s VAR!! No difference between the past and present.
Arsenal has no depth whatsoever. We got rid of two midfielders in a season the team will play different championships. To be honest, I am frustrated. We will lose Saka the same way we lost Van Persie.
Henry gets into our team right now
Practice for inter. We all know what great defensive style the Italian league produces..second string team aswell, plus freebie players.geat example for the over priced players in the prem..arsenal have spent a Ransom of monies for not that good quality players. How much for Rice pudding 🙄😂😭Arteta is not a Top manager..kindergarten manager..arsenal Way too big for that management..come on..🙄😂😭
💚🤍❤️
Arsenal definitely got schooled in defending.
American woman explains football rules , nice
Inter played without Thuram Barella DiMarco MIkhitarian
The coach should stop using his best players for efl cups. He should learn from liverpool Coach. Especially Saka.
And Cucurela against Germany ?
Clearly Arsenal need no 9 so bad
rubbish. giving a pen (basically a goal), in football, a low-scoring game, just for this, is stupid.
Incredibly obnoxious group of pundits. Micah and Jamie are good with Keane and Neville keeping them honest but Henry and Kate let them dominate and together, they are excruciating. Can't watch
Netflix FC awaiting new season..
Christina wearing her bra as her hair 😂
Odegard big boss is missing
As a neutral fan, the more i see them the more they look like a typical jose team! Too causation, defensive, less creativity, highly dependent on corners and set pieces
Inter B put Netflix FC In their pocket
How can y'all miss the obvious? The new champions league is tiring and affecting teams. The teams with squad depth will obviously fare better for a while at alteast.
Its a handball the discussion on the matter is a disgrace that same hand struck down low No penalty - simple
