I just wish they would be more accepting of customers in the Southern Hemisphere who are constantly ignored by endless Cosmetic Companies or make the shipping costs so outlandish that it's never worth it to purchase in the first place. The Northern Hemisphere is overwhelmed with options that aren't often offered to us and have most of the companies based there. When the shipping costs are more than the order itself, why would be even consider this, especially with other options? It's rare to find many Indie Brands at all who are accepting of us and understand our predicament. The best are Lethal Cosmetics and Oden's Eye whom I don't even have to pay shipping costs when a rather reasonable limit is reached. Nomad calculates shipping by the weight of the order, which could become simply insane if wanting several palettes. Those of you up north get it so easy compared to us. I'm glad you're getting better access, but don't wonder why we are not so excited by this prospect.🇦🇺💖

I just got Dirk to go through the clues on instagram, and he got New Zealand. I never paid attention to anything they posted until AFTER the destination was revealed. I watched this video while washing my brushes and got to the Auckland shade when I realised I'd not been paying attention to shade names, despite that I wanted to know them, haha. I love that they included the Te Reo language!
Nikki, I definitely find this a much better palette than their first attempt of multichromes. At least this one has more subtle shades within the multichromes that aren't as bright as the first was. I won't order from Nomad due to the crazy shipping costs to Australia which are calculated by weight, so I don't have any of their palettes. I did see you use the first palette but could see that I could never use such intensely deep jewel-tones on my pale skin. Even the mattes were far too dark. This does appear to be a much more thought out and cohesive arrangement of shades. I do agree that the last matte shade you pointed out looked out of place. It was rather cool-toned and didn't seem to mix with the other shades. I'm so glad that they've made many of the multichromes a lighter tone, instead of the extreme richness of their first multichromes. I really don't understand why they labelled this palette with New Zealand when it should have been associated with the skies above instead. There are only a rare few systems that can't be seen by the Northern Hemisphere, yet can be by all of us in the Southern Hemisphere. It would have been much nicer to keep the name of New Zealand for when they may decide to create a palette based on this very beautiful country and our close neighbours. It's a cop out to have named this with New Zealand as it applies to almost the entire earth. All they have done is mnention a few observatories etc. in NZ and thinks that makes it relatable to only that country. New Zealand isn't even been labelled a Dark Sky Nation yet, as this decision hasn't been made until sometime this year. It didn't even make sense to name one shade Southern Lights and another Aurora Australis which are the exact same thing! It would be like having a Scandanavian palette inclusive of shades called Northern Lights and another Aurora Borealis. I do love seeing that grey is being brought back throughout the Cosmetic Industry. I first started off with make-up using grey shades which worked well with my love of wearing black, grey and a little white clothing. Imagine how I felt when I got my hands on the ND Xenon Palette!!! It seems to be the one palette I keep gravitating towards, despite owning more eye-shadows than any one person should. I do hope your 'creepy' family is doing well and you've sorted out the issues with the eight-legged ones. Still enjoying your art channel, although was most upset after watching you create that beauty with the pale grey/white and pearl shades and at the end stating that you'd be keeping it for yourself! One day I will delve in a buy one or more! I will be watching with much pride the Coronation of our first Australian Queen who will be becoming Queen of the oldest European Monarchy after the abdication of Queen Margrethe II this evening/early hours of tomorrow our time. We've managed to weasel ourselves into the prestigious European Monarchy now, with the next King after King Frederik X being his half-Australian son Crown Prince Christian. This truly was a fairytale come true which has brought a greater bond between Denmark and Australia. I don't understand why the Brits don't associate with the European Monarchy, but now with Mary as Queen, this may change as she does have a friendship with Catherine, Princess of Wales. Whether a monarchist or not, it's exciting to see an Aussie reach such lofty heights. I'm proud of her achievements anyway and like to give credit where it's due. I wish brands were a little more daring when venturing in multichromes. Here we have the same 'illness' of other brands most of the shades have been done to death by so many other brands. The only two interesting shades for me are Southern Cross and Aurora Australis. But I am speaking from the perspective of a person that is into multichromes and has many singles so I understand for people who are not into singles this is a really nice palette. That being said I really love the theme, colour story and the outside of the palette so this is finally a Nomad palette that I will be picking up.

Appreciate your doing the full eye swatch of the palette & comparisons. I’m passing on it for now. I’m warm toned , and as a palette collector I feel like the vibes can be duped with some of Nomads older palettes & Dominique Berries & Cream * some Adept special shades.
Comparison at the end: on my screen, the Teal at the top is warmer(a smidge more yellow in it.. the one in the Royal Treasure). That's what it twiches me of Multi-chrome.. their unpredictability, difficult to define. I've on at the moment a Purple Holographic nail polish, in the bottle is 🔥fire🔥on the nails it depends so much on light! I put on this time a thicker top coat and when I catch it, it has an interesting tridimentional effect... a cold purple with warm flames.
