I cant get Doku kicking Macallister 2 inches below his throat and the VAR saying'They both went in high' out of my mind. Its insane, Macallister is running with both feet on the ground.Something is dodgy as f**k here.
Obviously you did not see from all angles . It’s mcallister who goes into Doku . Doku doesn’t even stretch his leg , he holds back . Apart from one player of Liverpool ( who just raised his hands ) NOBODY protested . The var was right . McAllister engaged . So was the referee who was very close . Again there was no protest at all. This , in times, when as much as a fart will cause players to claim for penalty .
Doku was first on the ball and when u replay doku left the ball and macllister initiated the contact and fell down , was correct decision by ref not even VAR
@@barugambireismailismail1688 100% correct . And Doku did not even stretch his leg . And nobody from Liverpool protested ( apart from player who briefly raised his hands ).

Miss the days when we left calls to fate. Because VAR really is just horrible. At least then back then we knew we would always disagree.

Buddy, it's not VAR that's the problem, it's the refs that don't know how to use it and make calls properly even with it. They'd be even worse without it.
If I remember correctly, that so-called independent panel is made up of 5 people, 3 of whom are former players and coaches. So much for the belief that former players would be helpful in the VAR booth if this is what they are saying on that panel.
I agree. IMNSHO PGMOL is a cozy club of mates who are disinterested in approaching VAR in a serious and professional manner. They view VAR as a burden that risks annoying their buddy on the pitch.
Referees have important technical knowledge about the rules. They also bring instincts and mental shortcuts that are absolutely necessary to keep up with a fast paced game on the pitch, but do not necessarily serve them in the booth. In fact, they can be a negative.
The problem with former players/coaches is they bring the same "I feel it in my bones" approach that makes VAR officials mediocre and unprofessional.
It should be the only thing the media talks about until changes are made, don't talk about tactics, performances, anything.
None of that matters when these kinds of errors continue to happen in nearly every game.
This year's title race and relegation battle are both tainted by VAR/ PGMOL incompetence.
This is yet another year where officials have determined who gets to lift the trophy and no one has the guts to say it.
We are told we can’t question referees integrity.. but the decisions we have witnessed this season really do raise the question, are the referees being biased in favour of certain teams? If not.. they are showing clear incompetence and should be relieved of their duties.. it’s the same referees making really bent calls every week and only certain teams seem to suffer. They have ruined football these clowns
The on field ref should be required to look at the play.
The point of var is to eliminate mistakes. If that's not happening then they need an urgent review
It's corruption, that's how you can explain the reason both ref and var chose to completely ignore that clear foul.
The EPL is one of the best leagues in the world because it’s made up of players from all over the world. Yet their referees pretty much exclusively come from England. It might be time to change that. Because English officials are not up to par with the actual quality of the players. The pool of referees needs to significantly expand.
PL is a farmers league with uneducated fans, and incompetent referees. I much prefer the fluid grace of La Liga and their highly educated fans who don't think high culture is 12 beers and 4 kebabs dribbling down their double chins.
I’ve been screaming this for years, English is spoken everywhere. They don’t need English referees exclusively, we need competent ones
Word of the day VAR meaning very average referees and we have seen it all season in the english premier league
You know, we sit here(me included) and talk about all this stuff about VAR, but for every wrong decision they make they actually make good calls most of the time. Now we all know that football has always had controversies with referee decisions, but i think its easy to spot now than before coz usually back then we'd always brush it off and say ref was too far from the action, couldn't see it, players in the way, refs have no excuse now
VAR ruins the flow of the game and makes way too many mistakes to justify the interruptions.
PL refs are worse than WWE refs when it comes to the rules.

I’m really sorry, but when all the pundits suddenly ask how on earth can anyone in the Var room, not see it. You have to ask the question why! I personally don’t believe they could all be incompetent. They have created the corruption angle, by their none actions.
Ludicrous!! How can they look at themselves, and get to this rediculous conclusion ! Please just come clean and admit they made a mistake ! Admit their incompetency and get some better staff than can do the job they obviously cant do right !
Add severe punishment to divers So players dont go down easily looking for fouls.. Make all handballs from elbow down result to freekick just outside the box except for a shot on goal and no foul if it touches the other part of body before..
Diving and simulation are unbearable at this pt. It happens every game and the refs keep falling for it. But there are no repercussions, so I don't c a change anytime soon
