I am not happy with this, personally. It didn't come out as well as I'd like it to, but hey, I had no other ideas unfortunately.
Feels like I could've done better is the point. 5 times better or something idk.
Or maybe I just had trouble considering the source song is KINDA strange tbh.

I know you kinda hate this song, but I really like how messed up it sounds. At worst it conforms to the original death egg theme, but it seems even better then that. It sounds like even the song is shorting out and being intimidated. Even when down, you still make great music man! I really like 2:45 in particular.

I honestly like how messy this one sounds if that makes any sense. Like it's a bad future version of an already sort of screwed up sounding and darker song, so it makes sense that it sounds super chaotic and all over the place.
Edit: I just noticed the references to Scrap Brain Zone as well, which I also really like. It's almost like the song is trying to tell you that this isn't going to be like last time.

I know that this Song wasn't the result that you wanted, but maybe the remix would be better if it was an Past Theme (Always imagined Death Egg S2 in Past Version, The closer example was KingMeteor's version, also, the major reference of the mix.)
